Pier is top notch. Great shape. Easy access. Seating. Playground desperately needs shade. Ample restrooms! No soap Tennis court Basketball court Sand volleyball pit Large shaded picnic area. Pool closed on Sundays currently. Generous parking Beach area & beach box with toys for kids. Some nuisance people with loud speaker going all over the park. No manners. Music playing with inappropriate lyrics
My son and I love going to FL beaches early in the am when we are visiting from TN. We enjoy visiting this quite small beach at sunrise. It facilities are well maintained, we do wish we saw a bit more wildlife.
Great place to relax by the water, or bring the kids to the playground or/and the public pool. 2 public restrooms, pavilion covered picnic table area with BBQ grills. Boat ramp & trailer parking as well, You do have to pay to park thru a smart phone. There is no other option, however setting up the account is fairly simple and the rates are very cheap. The water in the harbor is brackish it's a mix of fresh water from the Peace River and salt water from the Gulf of Mexico. Playground: Decent playground for the kids Restrooms: Fairly clean restrooms Picnic area: 2 pavilions over the picnic table area with charcoal grills
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this beach park! This is where our venue is located where we offer Kayak & SUP rental/tours at the Port Charlotte Beach park, and couldn't have asked for a better spot!
Nice quiet place to watch the sun set, fish or just lay on the beach. Picnic area: There are Picnic tables throughout the park to sit and enjoy a snack or drink.
Nice park. Small beach area, bathrooms, boat ramp, volleyball, basketball, tennis court, playground. Plenty of parking. Thee pool is open.
Outstanding place to bring the whole family. I went early in a Sunday morning to get some pictures and to look the place over. I was VERY impressed by what I saw! They have a beautiful peer to walk out on and fish, or to take pictures. They have clean restrooms and also a boat launch and parking. I'll be back again. This will kept park is a gem of a place.
The place is very nice. They do have decent, clean public restrooms. There is a boat ramp for the public. There is a basketball court, public beach, and a recreation center also. My favorite park in Charlotte county!!!
Great Place to spend a couple hours or the day playing sports, water activities, and fishing. Relax on the sandy beach, BBQ out by the water have a party and be taken by those awesome western sunsets. PS. Don't forget to bring your camera
Not terrible if you're just looking for a place to sit in the sand or a fun playground for kids. Water is not great and there were a lot of crabs underfoot so watch your step.
