This was our first time dining here. We read reviews and we were dubious after reading some of worst ones. But we decided that it was a beautiful day and wanted to sit outside by the river and give it a try. We were warmly greeted, had OUTSTANDING service from Mary and had a VERY delicious meal! Mary was upbeat, extremely personable and helpful. We will definitely be back! And we’ll bring our friends!
Britney was great, she was so busy and still graceful kind and attentive. The food was excellent. Outstanding. Not sure it could have been any better. Grouper sandwhich, nice. Lobster roll, nice. Sweet Potato fries, best we ever had. Spin-Artichoke dip, best we ever had. Cheese caked, crazy delicious. Classic Mai Tai Cocktail, perfect. Vodka grapefruit drink, delicious. Everything was quite perfect for us. Plus we took an order of roasted garlic yo go. Fantastic. Great place, we were so happy with everything. The staff was really hustling. Music was fun and the perfect volume. Great job all.
We visited Port Edward last Sunday for the champagne brunch, to celebrate two birthdays. It was my first time there, but the group I went with had been there several times. It was a fun experience. The food was very good, I especially enjoyed the waffles and the fried shrimp. The freshly made omelettes look fantastic, several people in my group had them. There were many options to choose from, so I think there's something for everyone.
We had a great lunch on the patio. The food was fresh and well made. Our server was outstanding. I with I had caught her name. The whole staff was hustling, and my water glass was never under half full. We had a great experience.Food: 5/5
Stopped unexpectedly for a late lunch on a sunny Saturday. They were able to seat us right away on their patio at the docks. Laura, our server, was lovely and friendly without being pushy. The food was good, lobster roll, kids chx alfredo we're good, very rich. Salad dressings were homemade or tasted it. Baked bread was warm and yummy. They did a good job helping me navigate a food allergy. Everything tasted very fresh and homemade. Desserts....tiramisu was great, but not strong coffee flavor. Creme brulee was ok, the mini version would have been enough. Cocktails were fine, average in taste and not strong. Names were unique and fun. They kept our waters full too! Views are great of the Fox River. We would go back!
My boyfriend and I went for the Mother's Day Champaign Brunch. We made our reservation, the service was great, and had plenty of Champaign refills. The waiting time was about 10 min, and the time to dine in is about 1 hr 30 min. The food was amazing and it was a great environment. They are very well organized, and they have a variety of food to choose from. The view of the river is amazing, but unfortunately, it was a rainy day. We will definitely visit again to try something else from the menu. Highly recommended.
Great place for drinks and food overlooking the Fox River in Algonquin! It gets crowded fast so come early. Drinks are tasty and the seafood is not bad. A great place to enjoy the water and warm afternoons !!Food: 4/5
Been dining here for nearly 30 years. The Champagne Brunch is amazing! A huge variety of fresh delicious food. Can't go wrong with unlimited champagne. Service is always great too. My favorite place for birthdays and anniversariesFood: 5/5
The food is excellent here! We live on the northern lakes so we took our boat from Fox Lake all the way down to Port Edward for the first time this year. Definitely love the experience. Their outdoor seating area is large and spacious. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Service and atmosphere were better than the food but the food was pretty good as well. I’d recommend a summer outside with drinks and some seafood. Definitely a desirable experience!Food: 4/5
