What a gorgeous, historic quirky building! It's so small that I wondered if it was worth visiting at all. Here's what makes it great: - historic nautical room upstairs - tons of historic memorabilia and photos - gorgeous architecture - friendly staff - large children's reading area filled with books my kids went bananas over - community events, many for families and children - book sales I love this library!
Very friendly and welcoming staff in a beautifully restored building. It allowed my wife and I to have a break from the heat. This building was going to be demolished.
I come to this library 3-5 times a week to work. The staff is incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful...all of the ladies that work at the front desk go out of their way to help you and make you feel comfortable. They also have lots of community events that cater to all ages and activity preferences. This is a gem in Port Tampa and strongly recommend you pay a visit.
It is small but if you love books come check it out. They have plenty and the upstairs portion has historic items. The front desk ladies were very cordial.
BEST PLACE TO STUDY!!! I highly recommend. The library is small but if you need a quiet place to study or do work, the entire second floor has conference rooms.
I loved this library! It was so quiet, offered me a great place to do my homework without all of the distractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Came here a few years ago, it was very nice . Looking forward to visit soon
