Located in East Pasadena, CA on the Campus of Arches & the St. James UMC, our theatre is home to our resident professional theatre company;
Arroyo Repertory Theatre.
It is also called home by the prestigious Nancy Evans Dance Theatre company and the Pacific Opera Project. Many others use our theatre to present performances, perhaps you will consider our facility for your next great performance.
Our curated Art Gallery which will open soon will feature works from local professional artists on an ongoing basis. We hope that you might consider coming to one of our gala openings, or perhaps just peruse the works while waiting to enter our theatre for a performance.
Starting this fall we will be offering an arts after school progam. See the article at left for more information. Although a new program, our teachers are very experienced and are both professionals in their fields as well as holding advanced degrees.

What has inspired us to produce the multi-disciplinary arts center that is Portico Art Space is the desire to create a climate of arts awareness in the community, a consortium of artists, educators, students and adults who all speak the same educational, cultural and artistic language.
