Portillo's

This is my go to Portillo’s, right down the street from my house, always good service and food, but I will never order catering again. I can’t believe someone boxed this up and gave it to me. It was completely burnt around the edges, noodles hard and black. Ordered for a graduation party and the taste and presentation was horrible. Only the middle was edible. Never again.

We love Portillos food and atmosphere! This location was along our journey so we stopped. New for us. Great staff, attentive manager. Kid-friendliness: It's more of question. We didn't really see options for kiddos. Tea was really unsweetened and we couldn't sweeten it enough and we don't give her carbonated beverages. We would like to come more often but she wants a drink from the restaurant too! What do you offer for preschoolers to drink?

Portillo’s goodness strikes again. Where they do it right every single time. Food so good and tasty you just smile. This is truly a Chicago favorite,

Classic hotdogs and hamburger joint in an old school diner sort of setting. The Polish sausage ihad was tasty; the crinkle cut fries were adequate, and I washed it down with a cold Blue Moon. I thought the service was a little slower than it needed to be for what is basically a fast food restaurant. They do serve Chicago style hot dogs but you can customize your order

Portillo's may have started with, and are known for, their hot dogs. All of their menu items are consistently well prepared and tasty. However, my favorite is the Italian Beef. They are on par with the best I've ever had.Food: 5/5

Food was great but I just felt rushed through the drive through. I dont know their menu and some one met me before I got to the menu and expected me to order. I told him I didn’t know the menu and he just looked puzzled. I knew they sold Italian Beef so I just ordered that. When I finally got to the menu it was so much more I wanted but it was over , someone brought me my order and I was on my way. I feel they should at least have a paper menu if their going to rush you through the process

Portillo's was pretty busy when we went, but they had plenty of staff members to keep everything running smoothly. We ordered a cheeseburger meal and an Italian beef sandwich. The restaurant was kept pretty clean, the staff members were friendly, and our food was yummy. We will definitely be back!Food: 5/5

When Portillo’s was sold to the new owners the portions got smaller and the prices got bigger. But the food is so delicious you still go back for more. Thank you Sir may I have another! I love this place. Full disclosure: I bought stock in the company when they announced they were expanding by at least 100 stores in the next ten years.Food: 5/5
