We love Portofino's and will be dining here every time we are in Chattanooga. We had the cold and chrisp Greek salad, crispy breaded chicken wings, and fried shrimp. My husband had the Gyro, and the meat was full of flavor. The kids both had pastas, which they both enjoyed. We all had to go boxes because the portions were large, and we went a little overboard on the hot, fresh bread with olive oil for dipping! We can't wait to go back. Thank you, Paula and Michael, for the great service and making us feel like family!
Go Here, Thank Me Later! The food is great, but the staff is AMAZING! Such Beautiful ladies that reminded me that I too am strong and “this too shall pass ”. As a Social worker my job is stressful. I had a bad day. My hubby knows I LOVE THE LAMB CHOPS! they are crispy and tasty on the outside and perfect on the inside! OHH THE FLAVOR!!!!!! The pasta is an amazing and the cakes Omg. But this particular lunch date I could not stop crying as I entered their new beautiful restaurant. The staff saw me and individually they all came to our table to offer me positive words and warm hugs if I wanted them. I NEEDED THEM. They embraced me and my heart was full along with my stomach . Yes this was a long review but I want you all to know they are more than a place to eat a wonderful dinner. They care, they share, they fill you and they feed you. All experiences should be this way. Love this place so much. Upstairs is so beautiful, the bread is amazing, small but filling for the mussaka. Loved the piña coladas, absolutely delicious. My first time trying baklava and I loved it so much! The gyro plate was delicious and had so much on it! Wheelchair accessibility: Disability parking and wheelchair access to the entrance
They have a new building, 2 stories tall, the have an elevator for older folk, I’ve been here once before and man the food is divine, the servers and service is some of the best, friendly faces, big smiles and extremely courteous. Me and my grandma ate the special, spaghetti with peppers, onions and mushrooms with cheese on top, baked in the oven. I was full afterwards, very generous portions as well. Everyone should try them at Lea once, I guarantee you’ll keep going back. Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator for anyone not able to climb the stairs if you want to eat on the second floor
Great atmosphere and decorative walls. Food was great. Had the lasagna today. I wasn’t impressed with the sauce, but overall great meal.Food: 4/5
My husband treated me today. He's been here before, but I haven't. Love the way this place looked! The minute we stepped in, we were greeted and shown a table. So many new foods to try. Our server was great! He answered my food questions and then kept the hot bread coming The overall experience was the best, and we will be back real soon
Food is good. Decent vegetarian optionsUnfortunately we had a bad experience. In our spaghetti there were few strands of hair. They changed it and didn’t contend but also didn’t apologize. Charged us fully for for that dish anyway. After posting the review, I found other people with review of hair in the food. I am not asking for compensation but good service. Vegetarian options: Manicotti must be tried. It is well made.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The owner checked on us frequently and I destroyed my meal. So did my brother. There was also decent portions fulling me all the way. On top of that it was brought out fast and hot. Overall the best Italian meal I have had at a restaurant. Parking: It was packed but still had plenty of space. Restaurant has 2 story's for more guests!
The food was good. It was not the problem. The problem was the service. We waited a long time to get our food. They said it was because they had a party downstairs for around 30 people. The restaurant was not completely full. If the place is big, they need to be prepared for it. They definitely need more people to prepare and cook the food.
One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long long time. We were given just the friendliest welcome, our servers were fantastic, the food was amazing, the place looked so nice and so clean. We walked in and the hostess was just so friendly she greeted us like we was old friends and then they brought out freshly made bread and some oil. You could smell it as she brought it too ya. It was so good too. Tasted great, fluffy on the inside and had a nice outer shell. The pizza was so incredibly good and looked absolutely amazing. The waitresses were so nice. They'd check in on ya just enough to make sure you were situated but never too much that it got obnoxious. The resteraunt itself looked so amazing! It was clean and just looked really nice inside. Definately a place to go for like a date or some nicer dinner. They have an upstairs area and a patio and they have an elavator to that upper level for those who can't use the stairs. I mean it was just an all around fantastic experience. I could not reccomend the place enough. Wheelchair accessibility: As mentioned in my main review they have an elavator to the second floor and of course wheelchair accessible entrences. I mean they really thought of everything.
