Members are from Lusophone countries such as: Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, East Timor, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, and the Chinese Special Administrative Region (SAR) of Macau
The Portuguese-American Police Association (P.A.P.A.) is a not for profit organization, formed for the mutual aid, protection, welfare, and advancement of its members who are Lusophone and descendants from Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, East Timor, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, and the Chinese Special Administrative Region (SAR) of Macau; educating the public, especially the youth, about the Criminal Justice System by cultivating friendship and loyalty within the Portuguese Community and the Residents of the State of New Jersey.
