Stellar facility! Great Nursing staff and Medical director Dr. Harris is one of the most pro-active patient focused doctors I've ever encountered! Most all staff have Great senses of humor too! I will miss this place!!!
Everyone has been very kind, and I've really enjoyed my stay here. I would highly recommend PAM. Sunny was a fantastic nurse, and very funny. Blayne and Angelica were really nice and attentive. Stacy was very helpful, and encouraging with my physical therapy. Cynthia was very kind when she came to get my orders for the kitchen, and the food was so good! Sammye and Larissa were also very kind and helpful checking on me throughout my stay.
The staff was really accommodating and worked real well with my son while we were there for three week stay. I really appreciate everything that they’ve done for us mentionable names Mary, Ashley,Zoran, Russell and many others sorry I can’t remember all your names but your faces won’t be forgotten! Thank you all so much for the care you showed us! May God be with you all and keep you strong in faith!
My brother had an awesome experience at PAM! He had not been able to walk or eat before he came from a back breakage and surgery. He is up walking, and instead of the nursing home, he is headed to Assisted Living due to your care and therapy for him! The staff cared for him, and everyone was so helpful. My brother ate wonderful meals and regained his strength. Thanks for your excellent care and support!
David, Lyndsey, Teresa & Carmela weee outstanding employees. David was very encouraging and made me feel like I can move to the next level. Lyndsey, Teresa & Carmela were friendly and professional. They made me feel like I was there only responsibility. They cared for me, as they cared for others. Please know me as Cheryl Thomas, and bless you all for making this horrible experience not so horrible.
Most of the nurses and techs are amazing. The issue I have is with the door lady up front this past Saturday. She needs to find another position. My friend came to see me. She was not sure if my room number and this lady dusted in on her asking why she thought I was even here. My friend then messaged my husband and told him she wasn't letting her in. He went up to the front and this lady, knowing there could be people to visit all day another thing that isn't cool at all because I have a 13 year old god daughter that wanted to see me, she told them only 1 person was allowed back. Husband knows the rules so he took my friend by the hand and brought her back to my room. She does not belong as a front desk lesson so is supposed to greet the public. Also, I was not told until I got here that i would have to share a room. I'm a very private person so this causes me some major stress but they really don't care. Just fill the beds I guess. Patients should be given a choice as to she or not they want a roommate. I realize they have to make money, but it's important for the well-being of the patients to feel safe and secure. It is vital to the healing process. It's just extremely uncomfortable for me as a patient to have someone in the same room with me through this process.
After experiencing complete negligent and lies from Hillcrest Hospital, I was transferred here. Unlike Hillcrest if I ask these nurses for a glass of water, I got it. They are very kind and professional. They let me know what was going on at all times and took care of my needs in a timely manner. They would tell me what meds they we're going to give me or any type of injection, so I knew what was going on at all times. They always had a smile which made my Hospital stay a little easier. They truly care about your needs and comfort. I wish they were a regular Hospital instead of a specialty hospital as I would go to them from now on. Lawrence
Back when the local ICU said they wanted to transfer my husband to an LTAC, I didn’t even know what an LTAC was. The first thing I did was Google for reviews. Naturally, the worst experiences make it online but I was impressed that PAM had a lot of positives as well. So, when our insurance approved PAM, I wasn’t mad about it. We spent 63 days here at PAM, 58 of them were in the ICU. I will tell you that they have some of the smartest, kindest, caring nurses I’ve experienced. Heather, Kristy, Jamie, Rico, Robert, Tammy to name a few I could go on. They also have wonderful respiratory therapists Lutcia, Catherine, David, Nick, Sheree, Melissa , physical therapists Christine, Matt, Carlos, speech therapists Mitzi, occupational therapists Stacy. DR. Harris has so much experience and is down to earth, we looked forward to his rounds. The neurologist and nephrologist we’re also wonderful. Kallie & Dallas with Dr. Aberhouli we’re also knowledgeable and fantastic! Even Rosa & Bertha with housekeeping and the maintenance guys are friendly and wonderful. While at PAM ICU, I always felt like they were one step ahead medically. They saw the major problems coming before they came. Sometimes this enabled them to prevent them but even if they couldn’t, they treated the problems well. No one knew if my husband would make it. Many we’re honest about that. And I know a lot of it was my husband fought hard, and it wasn’t his time, but I also attribute him being alive greatly to the staff at PAM ICU. The administration was also great. Ashley was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Larissa was a very present patient advocate as well. You can tell the staff cares here, at least I can speak for the ICU. They truly did become our PAMily. If I have to say something negative to balance it would be that I wish their food was better. Also, sometimes check in is confusing if Angela isn’t the one doing it she’s wonderful If you’re not in the ICU, the wait for help is longer. But even on that side, the nurses & techs we had seemed to care Brandi, Angelica plus more. Also, they have monitors monitoring everyone’s SATS so if there’s an emergency there will be a rapid response. We experienced one of these and there were about 20 ppl in the room within minutes. I pray you never need their services. But if you do, and you are searching, rest assured you will be taken care of here. We certainly were.
My stay at Pam specialty hospital Tulsa was enjoyable apart from my being sick Lindsey on day shift was a hoot to be around she made me laugh and she took just as much BS as she gave out LOL. Also on day shift two others that stood out where Kara and Courtney on night shift Kimberly and Cecilia and Sharvana were all nice and friendly in the physical therapy department there are four people who really made a difference for me and those people were Stacy, Christine, Carlos, and Matt they worked with me everyday and helped me to get stronger without them I don't know where I would be today in all the entire staff at Pam specialty hospital in Tulsa did a really good job of taking care of me and making sure my needs were met and I would just like to say thank you to all of them for all the work services they provided God bless you each and everyone
