Locally-owned neighborhood restaurant. We offer an organic dinner menu inspired by seasonal produce, weekend brunch, paired wine & local art exhibits. Certified Green Business.
Our chef Robin Valerie Low grew up on twenty-one acres on the outskirts of the Bay Area cooking from age six with harvests from a giant, organic vegetable garden, a flock of egg-laying chickens, prolific fruit trees and local farm-stands.
Chef Robin studied cuisine, pastry & wine at Le Cordon Bleu Paris & now blends Northern California's local/organic sensibilities with French influence & techniques. Her charming neighborhood restaurant is a cornerstone of Colusa Circle, where lower Kensington meets Berkeley, El Cerrito & Albany.
Housed in a 1920's turreted building with artisan-built bar, terraced dining rooms & art exhibits by local artists, we offer
our guests a warm, welcoming ambiance, appropriate for
both special occasions & casual get-togethers.
We strive to contribute to a better world. We reduce, reuse, recycle & try to minimize our environmental impact – earning us Contra Costa County’s Green Business Certification. Local artists share their work through exhibits in our dining rooms. Local dogs enjoy our fresh-baked, organic dog biscuits. We actively support local causes, artisans, & vendors – nurturing partnerships with those who share our community & environmental values.
