Lovely post office, the staff are so lovely and have so much patience. The que is always long, so you have to wait quite a while to be seen at the counter. There is a self-service bit, but you often need to ask for staff help when using this, so it's a bit of a pain, to be honest. They could really do with more staff to help the overstretched staff they have before they leave
I needed help to get a label printed to return a parcel. It proved to be complicated and time consuming but Kaye, who assisted me was so helpful and patient. I had to return later as the first attempt hadn't worked and again Kaye repeated the process several times without complaint. She had to get further input from another colleague, Ester, and with her help we finally succeeded in getting the necessary information. Both these ladies, but especially Kaye, went the extra mile for me. I am so grateful for the time they spent with me, their positive attitudes and determination to achieve the outcome I was unable to reach by myself. They are a credit to the Post Office. My grateful thanks, Lissa Bryan.
For Mrs. SRIVANI ONLY Hi. I am Elena Floricel and Rikki Egglesden and we would like to give with a big heart and a lot of respect a positive and very good feedback for Mrs. SRIVANI. She was so kind, so polite, so lovely, so professional, so helpful person with me as a customer. I had a problem with moneygram app and she help me a lot. She's si smart, so professional and she knows how to treat the customers, how to help them , how to advise them. She definitely need a high position there. Thank you so much Mrs. SRIVANI. WITH A LOT OF RESPECT ELENA FLORICEL and RIKKI EGGLESDEN WE LOVE YOU
Long queue and equally long face on the one cashier who was 'serving'. I've been back, and the grumpy assistant was gone, replaced by a very helpful one, so I increased the star rating from 1 to 2. However if you're looking for fast service you can forget this place - there's always a queue.
Having moved into wh smiths from their own unit, you'd have thought it would have improved, clearly not. Understaffed is an under statement. After seeing a queue of about 10 people cascading round the barriers, I thought hopefully won't take to long. After 5 mins of not moving at all and noticing only 1 person serving I gave up. Avoid and go to a local as you'll be in there for a minimum of 30 mins and possible not move!
We have a pic post box outside our house so u don't use the letter box. U cannot miss it. And u still u it and the dogs rip up our mail
As previously mentioned, there's nobody ever there ... If one service desk is open, feels like one just won the lottery.... I'm so very unsatisfied with the service.... Only today, I get, computer failure happens, network failure happens..still, the girl there couldn't be more unfriendly if she tried....
Dreadful service. 0915hrs Saturday morning one position open, long queue forming of 6 plus. One member of staff appearing to do anything but provide a counter service. No explanations for lack of service, eye contact with customers avoided. I required 12 x £1.70 stamps but could only get 6 as safe locked. They may be short-staffed but why can’t they keep the customer informed and also apologise for this. Staff appear to lack confidence in dealing with the customer. I expect it’s not the staff’s fault.
The fact that there's a post office at all in town rated a point. Otherwise it's shockingly poor. There are now only 3 counters and one for foreign currency, I've rarely seen 3 counters open, usually it's two and it's not unusual for one member of staff to have to ask advice of the other so regularly you get 2 staff serving one customer. The automated tills also often don't have anyone there to assist unlike when it used to be a dedicated post office and there was always staff to assist. There have been times when the post office has had to close altogether at lunch time due to staff shortage, which is totally unacceptable. The service is slow, there's no sense of urgency from the staff and the queues are long. Today I went in to find 2 service points one manned by a brand new member of staff, it took me 20 minutes to get served and there was never less than 14 people in the queue, when I left there were 21 annoyed customers waiting in the queue. This seriously needs sorting out, absolutely appalling!
Good location... glad that the new post office works some hours on Sunday. Other this points everything is worse than the old one specially some of the staff are rude and totally doesn't want to help- when I did a check out at the self service .. some one should collect the parcel at the end .. usual . No body came . The lady in the end asked me to join the queue .. !!!!! .. so why putting self service machine.
