I like the Batesville AR post office, except the parking. Many not HANDICAP have been parking in the only 2 HANDICAP parking spots. Just wish a way to fine them... A ticket for parking in the handicap parking spots and not legally handicap. Only fair to those needing the handicap parking spots. 11/17&18/2022, was another day of non handicap persons parking in the designated HANDICAP parking spots.
I can not fathom how unreliable all of the workers at this location are! Packages never arrive when they should and even if a package shows to be arrived at the facility they won't bother taking the time out of their day to look for your package! They even gave me a number to call to check and see if my packages were ready to be picked up, but when I called it stated that the number has been disconnected. I honestly hope that they figure out what is wrong with there employees and fix this problem as it has become out of hand the past couple of years! DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I mailed 3 things at this post office and none of which arrived. One was overnighted, I paid a fee to get it where it was going, and it never arrived. The other was dna samples for two separate dogs and they never arrived. It’s funny I have only ever mailed 3 things and none arrived! Makes you wonder who the mail carrier is and where the mail is actually going.
I am giving this post office a 5 star review because of who they used to be. Not who they are now. But in hopes that they will change for the better. First before I begin, switch to E-bill!!! Your bills are late because of you, not the post office. Your bill is due the same time every month. Your bill isn't magically not due because you didn't get the letter in the mail. The post office didn't make you late, you are simply irresponsible. That being said, my grandfather used to be the post master for this place back in the 90s and I remember going there as a kid and EVERYONE was so happy to be there. They enjoyed their job and they did it well. Even as an adult I used to hear such great stories about this place and how much they contributed to the community. I am sad that after he died, this place did not continue his wonderful legacy with such passion. I've heard when going there now, the room is just filled with depression and rude reps. It could just be other people's bitterness and not the reps. But USPS of Batesville, if you are reading this, and what people are saying about you is true, please for my grandfathers sake, return this to the icon it used to be. Take ownership of any mistakes your employees make, respond to peoples complaints and try to fix them. My grandfather lived for this place, he had so much pride and respect for this business and town. Don't let him down. RIP Kenneth Smith.
We have 5 mailboxes bunched up together in my area and everyday I have to sort mail and put mail that doesn’t belong to me in the right boxes. My son who is in the Army send me a letter that I didn’t get. I know someone put it in the wrong box.
I work for a fairly large company that sends tons of packages via usps and they refuse to pick up package on friday at noon even though that when we close. Then laugh in our face when we say its not our job to bring alllllll the packages to them. This is why we have slowly started switching all of our business to fedex. Customer service is awful as well.
The mailman hasn't picked my mail up in 3 business days and all my neighbors have gotten mail and picked up, I have had it
I live in an apartment and we have a shared Mail box that's supposed to be locked but the Mail Carrier left the whole side open where anyone could take anyone's mail. I frequently order from wish and eBay and am worried about things being stolen.
Great service and very friendly atmosphere.
