This location was a breeze when I went in for my passport appointment. The staff were really nice, efficient and professional. No wait time and they were quick!!
EDIT 2: I finally, thankfully, got to move out of this post office's service area, but in the last month that I lived there, they delivered my prescription medication to the complete wrong street and then marked that I "refused delivery". Clownery. EDIT: I went to the post office in person to get an inquiry resolved because I called 10 times in a row and no one answered. The good news is though, the person there actually helped me and the next day the postal carrier had conveniently found and correctly delivered my package. My carrier from this location must be a literal 11 year old because that’s the only way i can think to justify how bad they are. They’ve given several of my packages and some important mail from the social security administration to my neighbors. I think they probably also have stolen some packages. Every time I check my mail I have a bunch of stuff for other peoples addresses, sometimes it’s not even the right street. They’re literal trash and have ruined my day and caused me horrible inconvenience so many times and every time I try to file a service request it gets blatantly ignored. I was sent a gift through international mail over Christmas and have opened and reopened service requests several times and never got my package or found out what happened to it. Messing up the mail this badly should be criminal.
I gave it five stars because I want it to get FUNDING!!! The postal service is NEEDED AND WANTED. HOWEVER I strongly STRONGLY advise revision of the hours listed to say five to ten minutes BEFORE these times because if you go in right under the eye THEY WILL BE CLOSED!!!
I appreciate the later hours this location has. Everything was clean and well organized. Also Tamara was very professional and friendly. I needed to mail a lot of packages and she provided me with much needed information. I will be using this location in the future.
Sadly, I've had a bit of both experiences polite and friendly to downright rude and dismissive here, sometimes in the same visit. The older woman working the counter is absolutely wonderful, but you just have to go stand in line for a minute to see she gets talked down to and treated poorly by the younger girl with magenta dyed hair. I was next in line and the man working the counter at the time looks at me, waves me down and asks me to come to him to be helped. This same girl started yelling at me, 'SIR, SIR, SIR!' and then ushered some others who may have been waiting for a passport appointment over to the side I was just called to. I understand timeliness and I am a very patient person, but her tone and actions have been repeatedly unacceptable, both towards myself, other customers, AND her co-workers. I have had to go in there 3 times, and call the USPS hotline just as many, to confirm my packages are there for pickup: Packages that were supposed to be out for delivery but were not according to the incredibly rude and dismissive worker at this location. They also don't scan packages properly, nor do they provide the proper updates in-person. It would be worth it to set up a P.O. box at another nearby location just to avoid the headache of dealing with some of the rudest and most dismissive customer service I have ever seen. I plan to do this ASAP and furthermore stay out of THEIR hair, because helping customers just seems to be a bother when that's the job they are paid to do. Moreover, they will still be delivering some of my packages, I'm certain, so I'm figuring out currently how to avoid that in the future. Bless you, pleasant woman, for being able to work alongside such horrible negativity - You don't deserve any of that.
A little busy, but fast service with a smile.
Bexley's post office was very busy. I supposed it was because it was the day before valentine's day. It may be because of how close to the closing time it was. Whatever the busy hour was, it would have been nice to have friendly, smiling customer service from the staff working.
Bexley post office on main St is the worst post office in all of Columbus. The people who answer the phones there are always rude and unhelpful. I never get my packages on time, and they often mark them as delivered because they're trying to hurry and finish a route. It would be nice to call and get a simple question asked instead of being spoken down to by one of the whack housewives of Main St.
This location is awful, especially when it comes to the carriers they put the wrong people's mail in other people's mailboxes, lost packages by scanning delivered which isn’t, or scan them and put them in the wrong mailbox. They have no compassion or care about their mistake but would give you attitude and complain about needing help. I’m a nurse you don’t see me complaining when the hospital short staff and I’m refusing to help. Zero stars if available...
It's nice and easy to just use the self service kiosk. It's open 24/7 and every time I've went, its never been busy.
