This is not a full service site. But you can drop packages off here and expect them to get scanned and en route faster than a non traditional USPS location. It is kinda hidden behind a brown building directly across the street from the car wash.
This place is a Joke. I had a FedEx package delivered to my house and my fill in USPS driver took my package. After a week of being told that it may have been sent to Pontiac distribution center I got the Macomb county sheriff involved. I showed them the video of exactly what happened. I received a phone call this morning from an investigator and wouldn't you know my FedEx package miraculously ends up on my front porch a few hours later. Seems like I'm not the only person with this type of experience. This place needs some serious restructuring.
They honestly deserve no stars. I’ve had plenty packages never delivered and they never have any answers to my questions. They have a phone but what’s the point they never answer no matter what time you call. Mail carriers constantly deliver mail to the wrong house I wish I could use a different annex center
Stopped in the other day to pick up a package.... The gentleman that helped me was so kind and went above and beyond to track down my packages! Even turned out they were attempting to deliver a second time. Thanks for the extra help!
A lot of issues with my mail. Online requests don't seem to reach the staff at this location. I have a package marked delivered on Friday and I've been trying to track it down without avail and my mail hasn't been delivered since Thursday.
Never answer tall older blonde lady is beyond rude won't deliver my mail cuz it's block and she only says that cuz she can't drive up to it cuz she doesn't want to get out of the mail van but then gets out and delivers my Neighbors mail cuz she has a package soooooo rude and then no one does anything about it but encourages it by keeping her as an employee
Changing my review! I called the annex and spoke to a very helpful person who took my name and number and tracking number. I told her what happened. The carrier last week was a sub and must have forgotten to give me the parcel key. The regular carrier is back. He called me and explained what happened and told me he’d leave my package at the front door. Very quick response and customer service.
I went to this USPS office today with a notice that UPS had delivered my package to them on Nov 21. I was told by the lady at the door that UPS is "lying" and they haven't received the package. She added that UPS does this a lot. I then went to a UPS store and they checked there computer and it showed that my package was delivered to the Macomb USPS office on Nov 21. Who is lying?? Based on my past experience with this post office last Xmas when they delivered my Xmas stamps in January after being ordering 9 weeks earlier in Oct, I'd say this post office is. This USPS facility is the Worst run office in Michigan. Is there no accountability for federally run businesses! Maybe it's time to think privatization.
This place is so ratchet. The hours posted on the website do not reflect the day to day functioning hours. For the past couple of years there's always some irritating situation i encounter here. Long waits, unable to get a receipt, bad attitudes etc. I just tried to call to see what time they close today because last week I went over there and the doors were closed and locked when the website said they should've been open.
I'm not one to usually do this at all, but man this has me fired up! Due to my new mailbox key not working, I wasn't able to get my mail this month at all. When I called the post office in regards to not being able to access my box or the parcel box, she proceeded to speak down to me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. Once I made HER understand, she had all of my stuff brought back to the post office. When my husband called to confirm everything was ready for me to pick it up, she gave HIM attitude as well. When I finally received our mail and packages, one of my children's Christmas cards had been ripped into and the gift money inside was removed. As I have a picture of the envelope on my informed delivery account, I can see that when it was originally put in my mailbox, it had NOT been opened. My bet is on the extremely rude woman working in the office. I am so upset that someone would do that! We're supposed to trust these people with our gifts to loved one's! It's a wonder no one wants to use the postal service anymore! Thieves!
