In general this is always a better post office than most. Today Helen helped me SO much with stamps I've been looking everywhere for, she really seems to care about the selection available. Cheers to her
Sometimes the wait period takes awhile but the employees are friendly
There was literally mail scattered all over the floor with an attendant scrambling to check each one while his boss was yelling in the back. Definitely scared me off from going back there again.
I’ve been coming here for a few years. Some days you catch the ladies on a good day, but for the most part, one is perpetually rude. Sometimes they’ll just walk off when I’m in the middle of paying for stamps. When I arrived, the customer in front of me was in a yelling match with the window attendant about a package PRO TIP: the website will say your package is at the Highland Park address, but it is ALWAYS at Eagle Rock. It’s a website error. The customer was asking why packages aren’t delivered to the door, and the attendant threaten to have her removed. When they finished, I had the same teller, and she took out her frustration on me and kept interrupting me before I had a chance to ask how to file a claim. They’ll send you to Eagle Rock to their superiors regardless if it’s something that can be handled at Highland Park. Go to Eagle Rock, or wait in the line for the nicer lady.
Been living in this neighborhood for five years and have always had a good experience at this branch. The people are friendly, helpful, and efficient, even when they are understaffed and/or swamped over the holidays. They have helped me save lots of time and money over the years. Thank you!
Very bad experience. They used to be good before. Service terrible system down more than 45m to buy a money order. Please do something to fix the service. Not recomended that branch. More than 5 cashiers spots and only 2 were open with a big lane of more than 20 customers waiting.
Absolutely the worst service. I've had at least half of my mail either stolen or never arrive. EVEN CERTIFIED MAIL. Do NOT use USPS if you live in this zip code unless you like gambling because your odds are better at the casino than they are with this total incompetence.
It’s rundown and understaffed. During the pandemic there should be more people working so people are not waiting in an enclosed space too long. Workers leave protective window open exposing themselves and others.
Its funny how can I make a review if the office is always closed. I guess they have a lot of money, because for some people Saturday is the only day you can actually do business: esp. for the coming holiday. ho ho
I don't know why there are harsh reviews here, can't please everyone I suppose. This USPS is down from my house, and while it's a bit downtrodden, the employees there were very friendly and helpful. I believe we need to support our local USPS or we may see it vanish, and I don't want to see that.
