This place has now become a hot mess. Went in here to mail an item and the ladies on the counter were having full-blown conversations with one another without actually paying attention to the line. The other lady who was supposed to help me with my package kept addressing me as “baby”. So unprofessional to address a customer as “baby”.
This place so unprofessional I called about me barely receiving my mail and my mail coming to my address opened, the person who answered the phone gonna tell me the mail carrier said he deliver all my mail and that’s not true. I haven’t received mail in my name in an entire month and I been living at my address for 17yrs, after I complained About not receiving my mail I get a phone call later that day saying my passport appointment been cancelled, they’re so unprofessional. Going on an entire month and I still haven’t received no mail at my address in my name, this post office is awful I will be contacting the main post office about this problem.
This is the worst post office ever!! I had to refund majority of my orders because they basically lost all of my packages that was supposed to be sent out! If I could give these people 0 stars with a slap I would!!!!!!
Had a very expensive package shipped to me through USPS and go missing when it reached this post office... Submitted a missing package report and was basically told "too bad so sad." A month later and still nothing. I've seen other reviews of people having the same experience so... You do the math. Avoid at all costs of you can.
Ordered a tracking device from a specialist company which was supposed to have been delivered days ago. Decided to use the device's own tracking signal to find out where it was. Turns out that it's apparently been riding around in the postal van for several days now, just going from his postal storage at Un. to my house and back again. The mail is delivered, but the package is not. This has been an ongoing thing for 12 years now, and I've made multiple complaints both over the phone and in person at the post office while searching for my undelivered packages.
This has got to be the slowest post office on the planet! My package was shipped Mar. 24 and it's still showing it's at this same post office on April 7th. The last time it a month to get to me!!!!
I used the self-service kiosk and messed up my purchase. I ask the person at the counter if I could return the postage and they said they don't handle any purchases from the kiosk. The supervisor said they don't handle any purchases from the kiosk. They couldn't have been any less helpful. What do I do if I want to return a USPS product purchased from a kiosk?
Staff very friendly which is rare. Clean. Organized and efficient. Great location
Not the best customer service. It was my first time shipping anything ever and when I was asking questions, the girl behind the counter was so unhelpful and borderline rude. I had to get another customer to help me. Also, I asked a simple question about whether my passport needs extra packaging to be mailed. She didn't answer my question and just charged me extra with express delivery. I didn't realize this wasn't normal until someone else pointed it out after I already left the facility. I rated it two stars because at least my packages got to their destinations. Otherwise, I had a bad experience here cause I was charged more and wasn't helped.
The service is so slow here, there needs to be another Post Office in Owings Mills. At a minimum, they need to keep all three of the counters staffed. I went in 3 weeks before Christmas 2021 and waited in line 20 minutes because the self--service kiosk was not operating for letters and packages. When I asked when it would be operating again, the person told me it was not the responsibility of the Post Office. I went in the week before Christmas, and waited in line at least 30 minutes again, the self-service kiosk was not operating. I went in the day after Christmas, and waited in line for an hour. I thought I was going to travel out of town over the holidays then COVID changed that plan so I had submitted a timely "hold mail" request. I received mail on three of the five days that mail was supposed to be held. I would think that the manager of this Post Office would take control of all of these issues. An employee should be assigned to answer questions and advise people on how to properly wrap and address their packages while the customers are standing in line, rather than doing this when the customer gets to the window. The manager needs to ensure that all three windows are staffed by postal employees. The manager needs to ensure that the self-service kiosk is working. The manager should also ensure that the floor and the entrance way to the Post Office are clean. This Post Office did not used to be this bad 19 years ago. Hopefully, things can be corrected in 2022.
