Terrible customer service, they don’t want to do their job! We’d been trying to update our new address and they’re blaming the post office headquarters for everything. I was at least trying to get a package that was already there and they didn’t even want to try and look it up. They ended up saying the package was in another state even though I had the proof that the package was there. They’re working just to make some money, not because they love their job; having mad faces every time we went there to try to make sure our new address is updated. always responding like robots and super mad, barely taking the time to look at the computer or even the documents we bring to prove that we did everything to make sure our new address is updated. Please hire more enthusiastic and competent workers. This location’s workers are very disrespectful. Gleen and Rick need to take some classes of how to treat costumers right! They acting like we come there to beg for money!!!! The worse post office I ever been in my entire life !
I have a mail forwarding order in place effective as of May 18, 2023. They continue to deliver mail to my old address. I have spoken to the post office 2 weeks ago and promised me that they would make sure the postman James followed up. A week and a half later now, and the mail is still being delivered to the old address. I tried faxing the Palmetto postmaster a letter for assistance and the fax line just rings endlessly and never connects. I have tried calling over 20 times as different times of the day, knowing they are busy the P.O. and the phone line greeting picks up and then transfers the call to the Palmetto PO but it just rings for up to 2 minutes each time and then hangs up. And yet they still are ignoring my confirmed online forwarding request. HELP!
I own a small business so I am at this post office frequently. These are some of the hardest working people at this post office and they deal with a lot of dumb stuff that I hear as I stand in line. I couldn't do what they do every day and most of them try their best to make things easier for the customer.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Glenn is the RUDIEST person I’ve ever come in contact with. He needs a lesson in customer service or to get a different job not dealing with the public.
Once again my mail has been delivered somewhere else. Last time it was my heart medicine. They need to hire people that can read. Don't answer their phone.
Our delivery guy is not delivering our packages!! We are a business that normally close around 5pm to 6pm.. Everytime we expect a package that day he would state delivery attempted but business was close!! While we would be sitting there waiting!! This would happen all the time!! We don't know who to complain to..
This is the WORST post office I've ever dealt with. Their function is to DELIVER THE MAIL. I have to call, file complaints, go in person, etc JUST TO GET MY MAIL DELIVERED. No one ever calls you back when they "promise" a call back from the "postmaster" or a manager. They've been through at least 6 postmasters in 7 years. It's a full out disaster in this place. I recently opened up a local business in Palmetto and they can't figure out how to deliver mail there either, even though there is a gigantic 12 foot commercial LED sign and banners waiving out front. I called and talked to the manager Lee about a week ago and regarding my company mail not being delivered and she legit told me "I HAVE OTHER STUFF TO DEAL WITH" and hung up the phone on me. When they USPS stops getting government bailouts and finally goes away, THIS is why. Horrible horrible "service". Disgraceful.
All my packages that come thru this Post Office end up lost. Someone should really look into there operations
Palmetto post office 4xs out of 4xs has not gotten overnight package to the house on address and this Christmas my grand daughter won’t get her gift because it’s delivered to someone else again delivered to a totally wrong address now they refuse to answer the phoe
Small post office and friendly/ helpful staff . I brought in a package and the clerk helped me with taping the package . Usually when I go to Fed Ex or UPS they charge me for tape and pretty much for anything there’s a fee .
