BLUF; this will be the USPS store I’ll go to from now on. Went in on a Saturday morning at 9:30. When I first walked in it was me, another customer, and a clerk at the window. Within 10 mins about 7 more customers walked in. If my memory serves me correctly the clerk’s name was Maria - she was very pleasant, very efficient; she took care of me and one other customer at the counter while answering a question from a customer at the packing table. I bought an XXL packing box and Maria was patient with me as she explained she why she was date stamping both barcodes on the box. I appreciate that she showed that kindness and patience instead of assuming I knew their processes. To expand on my review, I usually frequent a USPS store in Cocoa Beach. From now on, I’ll go out of my way to visit this store should I need postal services on a weekend.
I'm not one of those who complain a lot, but for a while now the emails are leaving it at another address, and my neighbor has brought me letters that belong to me and they have left it for him, yesterday I received a package from Amazon and it they left my neighbor's mailbox on Hunan st and thanks to Kim the other lady who went the other day listened to me and checked my neighbor's mail and indeed my package was there, I don't want to put anyone in trouble but they must make sure they leave packages and letters in the correct address please
Only 1 Front staff working here on weekdays! You gotta be kidding me! 10 people on the line!!!! Their crew management SUCKS!!!!!
The staff can be nice but the service is terrible. I've complained SEVERAL times about them closing early on Saturdays. Today the mail line was roped of by 1:56 and I was forced to drop my packages in the mail bin. The bin by the door for pre-paid boxes was already gone and the lady told me to drop it in the mail drop box by the 24 hr machine. I dropped it in there and physically saw someone on the other side pick it up but they didn't scan it. They put it in a mail bin and left it. Here it is 7:30 pm and it still isn't reading as scanned. The PO closes at 2pm and the mail box drop has a pick up of 2:30 pm yet my items I drop off before 2 pm are left sitting until Monday. And this isn't the first time. I'm a small business and depend on my items to move accordingly and now I have to refund postage payments because the staff here don't know how to do their job and the MGT doesn't care. Doesn't matter what you say or do nothing will get done and small business like myself will con't to lose money because the PO could careless.
I have been coming to this post office since we moved in at least 15 years ago. 4 years ago my husband and I started online business and have at least 20 small packages over the weekend. As a small business owners, we have to protect ourselves from lost packages and fraud claims from some people. So we insure some valuable orders while printing the prepaid labels. Insurance company needs proofs to show the packages have been in the mailing system in case claims are filed. I heard even with the SCAN form won’t help to identify specific package while file claims. This is the main reason we have to wait in line and have staffs scanned and weighed, then saved the receipts for future reference. I just had a customer called couple days ago said she received an empty package without the item. And I pulled out the printed receipt with the package weight, compared with the package without the items, showed her that I didn’t forget to put it in or slipped out before sealing the envelope. We really appreciate the staffs at this location, especially Steven, Kim and Kevin for their professional service and understanding! They are always very happy to help us, and never complain about it. We are so grateful to have you guys working here and helping us out!
I noticed this one USPS Staff member that’s blonde not sure what her name is but when she speaks to customers she sounds very rude and condescending. I was at the USPS the other day to return a package she spoke to me like I didn’t know what I was doing with my returned package. Definitely not going to this location.
I usually never have an issue with this post office however when I went in there this time they were not busy at all and the 2 employees were in there just talking and carrying on a conversation about nothing that related to work while customers were waiting in line to helped. The lady in front of me decided to leave and stated she was going somewhere else because no one was helping her and they were confused as to why she left. Well because y’all were to busy having conversations to help your customers. Then the girl employee made a comment saying “Hopefully that wasn’t a secret shopper”. Wow! The employees working were Kevin and the other lady had glasses and long dark hair. When I approached the desk to be helped I had to ask if they were ready because they didn’t greet me at all. I asked if I could have a piece of tape and he said they don’t supply that and to go out and pay for it. I’ve been to multiple post offices where they don’t mind placing 1 piece of tape on my envelope for me. But the way this guy talked to me was extremely rude and then when I mentioned the other stores not minding he got more of an attitude and slammed the tape down and said well that’s the way it is. I’ve been in customer service for years and this was by far the worst service I’ve ever had. I won’t be returning. I understand everyone is under pressure this year but no reason to treat people like that.
The customer service is much to be desire. I usually don't post reviews but clerk Kim was so rude I just had to bring it up for attention. When I tried to address my situation, she simply dismiss me with " I cant help you." I do hope at some point the postal employees get happier and more train with problem solving and etiquette. What troubled me was not so much that she cared or not, as that she didn't even tried.
Customer service is okay. Everyone has a job to perform. Mail is slow for those with boxes here. Somehow, my mail to my physical address keeps getting returned to sender once it reach the post office. God help us all.
The clerks at this location are generally pleasant and helpful. HOWEVER--the outside mailbox is highly subject to THEFT!! in January 2019 a check payment I placed in the outside drop box at the Interchange Square location was stolen, my check was washed, and an attempt was made to cash it. Fortunately, the credit union stopped it, and I opened a new account, got new checks, etc. I called this facility and attempted to report this incident to the manager. I spoke with a "supervisor" who claimed he was new, and DID NOT KNOW if the building has a security camera! He didn't apologize to me for the incident, did not act at all as it this was a serious occurrence. I reported the theft to the Postal Inspector, don't know if anybody ever did anything about this. My suggestion: DON'T USE THE OUTSIDE COLLECTION BOX AT INTERCHANGE SQUARE!
