Out to lunch … waited 65 minutes …. No posting of when to when … just stood back there socializing while 20 people waited in the doorway!
I just left the post office in North Palm Beach, Fl on US1- Two postal employees were behind the counter helping customers. The place only had two people being helped ahead of me. I asked if they had a smaller envelope, First priority, then the larger on display on the rack. KATHY, one of the women behind the counter started to yell at the top of her lungs...I have never been treated so poorly. It’s one of the reasons I don’t use this branch as much. She has done this before to other people. I thought she was gone but she’s still there with her nasty attitude and all. There must be something very wrong with this woman. She definitely needs phycological help. Definitely not material to work with the public. In the back room is where she belongs.
They did not open on time and there was a line out the door. Unfortunately we heard them laughing in the back instead of opening their doors on time. It’s a Tuesday morning and we all had to get to work. Hopefully others had a better experience. I left unable to send my package.
No, just no. 3 months I waited for a mail key. Calling practically every single day, and they can attest to it. They then disconnected their direct phone line, which then sends it to an operator that rings and rings. You then have to wait on hold for 45 minutes for the national complaint line whom informs you that each ticket you put in is closed to discuss your 48th call saying that you still don't have your key. IMPOSSIBLE. When I DID finally receive my precious mail key, they forgot to inform me which mailbox number was mine. $25 dollars and 3 months of my life. For a key.
I take things in for my business several times a week. I always get good service, sometimes not overly friendly even though they "know" me. The wait is usually acceptable and they are always helpful. There is a man I get when Cat or Maryann are on vacation...he is FANTASTIC. I'd like to clone him...
Post Office service should really spend more money on salaries to be able to hire smart people. Locations to visit run out and I still didn't find the one to offer decent service. I was going to ship a small package abroad with this older lady at US1. When I came it was empty. On the shipping label I placed my name, address, e-mail address besides recipient and she said she couldn't accept it until I place my phone number. I said there is enough info, I don't have a phone. She said everybody has a phone, she wouldn't accept until I provide one. What is it??I said place whatever number you want, I shipped package many time and I mean many before and this is the first time somebody makes it a problem. She said there is a question about a phone number give me a number. I was really patient and said, does a fake number work for you? She said "yes" because she needs to put some number. LOL. Lady, you could come up with it yourself and not let the queue built behind me. This is ridiculous. I gave 3 stars because the post office does scan the dropped mail unlike other locations.
The staff at this post office was wonderful! Cat and MaryAnn clearly explained what I needed to do for proper mailing of my correspondence, and smiled the whole time! Not missing a beat, these multi-tasking experts continued helping several people at a time, and me, cheerfully and efficiently. Mailing a package to my niece next week and I know I can count on these fine people to help me make sure she gets it!
Cat was OUTSTANDING! Very upbeat and friendly! Was greeted with a huge smile and was literally in and out of there within 5 minutes!!!! Even when she was helping two other people out me being the third she was extremely fast with helping me and was such a delight! If you need a package go to the post office on us1 and light house!!!!! Great service! Found my main post office now !!!! Thank you Cat!!!
Keep in mind that this is a post office and at times it's understaffed. I started going here because I'd have to wait in line for 20+ minutes at the PGA location and this one is much faster. I've gone here 2-3 times a week for business for the past 10 years and I've never, never had a bad experience. But I know what I'm doing with preparing and metering packages myself. I do see plenty of people that do not and mistake this for a pack and ship, so I chuckle sometimes and joke to the ladies about them when it's my turn in line. So overall a great neighborhood post office that's very important to North Palm Beach,
Our mail carrier is out. The mail is awful. We didn't get mail for almost a week. Yeah hard to believe!! To me. It's the supervisor s fault. As I hear from condo peps. Didn't care also. usps people. Shouldn't their job to arrange for replacement. We are all entitled to days off. Whom ever is the supervisor should be demoted. Most people here depend on mail for bills. Not i. But it is no wonder mail service is going down. Get rid of bad seeds !!!!
