If 0 stars were an option I would select that. We routinely at least once a month have to call the post office because our mail is not being delivered. When I order online they deliver my packages to the wrong address. Contacting them and the post master is a complete waste of time this has been an ongoing problem for months!!!!! So fed up and angry at this point because I'm not receiving my mail at all or time sensitive mail extremely late.
I watched the carrier deliver my prescription medical device to the wrong address. He even recognized it was the wrong address because he looked at the package, looked at the house number, looked back at the package, scanned it and left it between the doors on the neighbors porch. When I called about it they argued that it was scanned in as delivered at my front door. I literally watched it being delivered. I'm not just assuming what happened. Later that evening I got the notification that my package was delivered at 5:48pm. I left my home at 6pm and it was not there at any of the doors.
, every time I send mail off from here I have a issue with one envelope gettin delivered but not the other , when I send them off at the same time jus dosnt make since they really need to get it together , I will never send mail off from here again & hope that my mail gets delivered to where it's suppose to go , terrible post office needs to be closed untill they can maintain to run it the right way
There are days we don’t get out mail because they are short staffed. Like 3 days at a time. I know we were supposed to get mail because of informed delivery.
I’m writing this review to give a shout out to the Rock Island post office on 11th st. I have experienced nothing but helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant employees at this facility! A special thank you to Jason, who has been very informative and helpful on a couple of occasions. He has been very patient with explaining and checking for items for me. I am very appreciative for all you do!

Horrible, inconsiderate, damages to packages, mail delivered to wrong residents, sloppy work even letters get torn, heavy packages are crammed into parcel locker for us to fight to get out then carry back to our apartment. Today I had one 40lbs of cat litter done just like that!! Box damaged and all I could do to get it on my Walker and get it back home. I am 65 disabled and legally blind. Your so very very inconsiderate!!!! Makes me ashamed of the Postal service. You don't care about us at all.
TERRIBLE! The mail carriers & supervisor CAN NOT do their jobs right. I had trouble with receiving my mail, so they assigned 3 different sub-carriers who started delivering mail in my neighborhood and that's when things got worst. I started receiving important mail that belonged to my neighbors, but still not my own. I called the supervisor name Amy who stated that she leaves before the carriers are back and haven't spoke back to them to see how things were going. I suggested to her to leave the carriers a note in the morning so that the problem can get fixed. Amy was of no help because she made it seem like she didn't wanna work over to talk to the carriers, and that she's too busy to leave a note. I will be taking this matter further because she should be fired along with the rest of the carriers who carelessly delivers mail on my block.
The older grey haired woman at the front window is just awful. She has been rude when asked a simple question about rates and outright nasty when asked the process to send a package overseas. I imagine she is the same way when someone buys a stamp. I was there several days ago to put a package into the box and with no business at the window. She rudely told the gentleman at the front of the line with three others behind him that she was closing, took a hook and slammed down the folding partition as he stood there. This was five minutes before closing time. My wife works the front counter for the cable company and they do not have a stellar reputation either, but she would certainly be reprimanded for such an action. I suppose the postal agent is a lifer and has had many complaints lodged against her and there is probably little recourse, but if possible avoid this particular post office.
On Monday 09/21/2015 I had to call several times before not getting a busy signal. My son was left a notice on 09/19/2015 that stated the mail carrier had attempted to deliver a certified letter. There had been no heard knock on the front door and the notice was placed in the wrong mailbox, there being three and all clearly marked. As it happened it was the only day I had off that week and if they tapped lightly they could not be heard through the three doors on the front porch. There is the storm door, the front door, and a door to close off the foyer. I sat working in the front room all day and only hear someone knock on our back door that whole day. Nothing was heard as far as anyone knocking on the front door. So if they knocked it was to lightly tap on the storm door which was not and could not be heard through three doors..
