Awful experience at this location. I sent an international package and there were issues with delivery. I went in to see what can be done to help get this sorted. The employee who was helping me said nothing can be done and it will be returned to me. He was rude and was talking down to me for the duration of our convo. He didn’t even bother looking up my tracking number. I left on the verge of tears. I decided to call usps call center and was helped right away. They opened up a case number added in a new phone number to contact recipient and my grandmother was able to get her package the next day. If you need help call the call center do not go to this location unless you want to be given inaccurate information and be treated with disrespect.
Moments like these make me wish ZERO stars were an option. Let me be clear- it's not just the Tierrasanta post office that is awful- but ALL San Diego post offices apparently, because no matter where I live in San Diego, the service SUCKS. Missing packages, packages delivered to the wrong address MULTIPLE TIMES, impossible to get through on the phone, etc. I have lost so many packages this last year. Days that they have substitute carriers, it is guaranteed we will receive either someone elses mail, or have missing packages. So far we have lost over 10+ packages that claim to have been delivered, and were actually delivered to the wrong address, and several bundles of mail / packages that belong to other folks. Yesterday it happened AGAIN- we received someone's package, and mine went missing, and no, my package did not get flipped and delivered to that person. Get it TOGETHER USPS- you have 1 job- DELIVER MAIL ACCURATELY. If your stand-in postmen don't know how to sort / distribute / deliver mail properly- TRAIN THEM BETTER, OR DON'T SEND THEM OUT FOR DELIVIERIES. DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!!! Your services SUCK I used to be sad at the thought of USPS being overrun by UPS and FedEx, but at this point, I CANNOT WAIT.
Tierrasanta Post Office is the absolute worst! The mail man did not knock on the door or ring the bell for a package that required a signature. I was home the whole time. He just left the notice with the rest of the mail in the mailbox. Now the post office is only open 9-5 which is the hours I work so I can’t pick up my package that has medication that I need to take everyday until next Saturday. A whole week without medication because he didn’t bother to even knock on the door. Tried calling the post office but it just rings and rings and then hangs up, they do not bother to even answer the phone. No way to contact the mailman or let him know that he needs to knock or ring the bell to check if someone’s home to get a signature, he can’t just assume no one is home, I can see this being an ongoing problem. Very frustrating and unprofessional. Lazy people who work there that don’t care for your mail or about customer service.
Hi guys. Used this post office around 6month. After they changed staff and services was changed also. Ted and Chabley absolutely not professional. They was rude with me and not friendly. Not recommend this office more.
I ALMOST got scammed long story short dropped a order off at this location around 2:30ish pm and paid for overnight for a customer. Did some extra digging because something in my gut said double check their info and I did turns out they like to scam small businesses sadly. I was in El Cajon when I realized this information at 3pmish so my husband drove us back to the location. Same lady who helped me the first time recognized me and I explained to her what happened she retrieved my package and reimbursed us our money back. Personally best experience I've ever had at a Usps location.
Went to pick up a package that was mailed to us from Berlin on February 2nd. It arrived mid-April, with a hole torn in the box and half the contents missing. The girl behind the counter also couldn't help me with the fact that our postal carrier for my townhouse complex has multiple times scanned something as having been delivered, and then two days later left a note in our mailbox saying that we have to go pick it up. Therefore when you track the package it says it has been delivered. I would never recommend doing away with the USPS, but it would be nice if they were sometimes a little bit better at what they do... I seriously doubt that they are unable to cancel a delivery scan out so that you get accurate information...and I really think that damage to my package happened in the continental United States, but who knows
I just dropped off three packages off three days ago, and the tracking information still says that USPS hasn’t received any of them. I’m extremely upset, as this affects my small business, considering my customers don’t know where their packages are, and can cancel their orders, therefore scamming me out of my own money while still receiving the item. The post office won’t even pick up the phone when called.
AJ did the worst service. He mistakenly told me the cheap and expensive boxes for sending international mail. Thanks to that, I've been here for an hour. I don't want to see him again. This guy either made a mistake on purpose or didn't know anything. I don't want to see that guy's face again.
Absolutely aweful and doesn't even deserve a star!!!! The customer service was aweful. I sent a package to a service member in another country and had to fill out several forms because they kept giving me the wrong one. My friend got the package, and only the least expensive thing was in it! The other two items were stolen. This isnt the post office I usually use, but after reading reviews on all of the US Post Offices including the one I use, I think I'm going to stick with UPS.
If I could give this location a 0 star I would!! My daughter has a rare genetic disorder and we did a fundraiser to raise money for medical equipment we had to purchase out of pocket... Brought packages in. Obviously was never scanned in and the man was VERY RUDE!! He slapped a RTS on the packages and sent them back to me and 2 packages are missing... Packages that I sent time and money on to raise money for my daughters medical. This is VERY upseeting and I am getting no help when calling.
