I have ordered items with tracking numbers…says the package has arrived at PO but then it takes another 2 days to get it actually delivered. Poor!
Pretty good service. Everyone there is usually pretty nice. Only downfall is the service is SUUPPEERR slow depending on who you get. Theres a young lady who works there who always gets me in and out no matternthe issue, alternatively theres a middle aged man who takes ages to get anything done. Definitely not a place i'd try to get something quick done if you had a few extra minutes.
I hope to update this review with more stars if the issue is resolved in my favor. Our property management is remodeling our unit and temporarily placed us elsewhere. Not the postmaster but a man I'm assuming is manager the others looked to him for an answer told me a mail hold is the best option for this short term situation, and that we can pick it up and keep held as time goes by. Three days in a row we have gone to the Post office as something very important and needed is supposed to arrive. Otherwise, we wouldn't go in that often. Today, a younger woman with long hair who works there often scolded my husband and told him that we can't pick up our mail each day. No regard for what our situation or need might be, just inconvenience to her having to walk 20 steps to a cubby where the mail is held. After her attitude today I'm fairly certain she lied two days prior when she said there was nothing there. Yesterday there were things dated as far back as September 23. I normally wouldn't say something like that without knowing for certain, but her behavior is weird and way out of bounds which is causing distrust and worry. No one at USPS has authority to say that you cannot get your mail when needed. It's YOUR mail. This is MY mail. This woman on a power trip shouldn't be working the desk if she can't be kind or give people their important letters. And if it's an issue to pick up held mail but continue the hold, they shouldn't suggest the practice or allow it at all.
Obviously no respect in people’s belongings or peoples money. Got a few packages supposed to be sent to my mailbox but since my name wasn’t on a sticker on my mailbox and they got sent there. By the way nobody else around me has stickers on their mailboxes. They got sent back to the post office and then sent back to the distributor. I went the next morning to get the packages to have a supervisor give my girlfriend and I attitude when he was asked a simple question. Man should be fired. You don’t talk in the service industry like that when the people haven’t done anything to deserve that kind of behavior.
This post office has excellent customer service. I mistakenly had a package shipped to my old address in Superior when I now reside in Maryland. At a loss for how to handle it, I called the office and spoke with Kermit, the postmaster. After providing him with the information about my mail, he said it would be picked up from my old address and forwarded to my new address. If this was not enough, he called me back later that afternoon to inform me it had been picked up and provided me with the tracking number for the new label. He really went above and beyond to help me. Thank you!
The carriers that they've hired lately are completely incompetent. At least once a week, I get my neighbors mail. I've had to deliver boxes to houses a block away because the mailwoman completely ignored me trying to flag her down. It's unsettling to think of how much of my own mail my neighbors are probably just throwing away because it's not worth the hassle of dealing with these mailwomen. They won't take letters out of the box to mail them, they mark packages as delivered hours before they actual deliver them. Edit: However, the people working in the office are very polite and helpful. They've helped resolve issues of the carriers delivering packages to the wrong house quickly and politely. If you have any problems, head into the office and talk to them. And if you don't feel like dealing with the carrier's shenanigans, it would be more worthwhile just to get a P.O. Box.
With all due respect this post office makes a lot of errors. Packages are marked delivered when not delivered. Packages are delivered to unsecured buildings to be stolen after I've spent the time calling the USPS requesting my package to be held for pick up. Kermit the manager uses the fact that they are so busy during the holidays as an excuse for the errors, but frankly, that isn't acceptable. If they took the extra time to get things right, they could save a lot of time and money correcting problems, and avoid thefts of packages. We put a lot of trust in the post office, but its misplaced when our packages aren't held as requester and our shipments are stolen. It's very disappointing.
The last month of mail delivery has been horrible. We usually get our mail between 10-11am for the last year now in the last month or so the mail service has been super spotty at delivering or picking up our mail on a consistent basis. We run a business out of the home and half the time the mail person doesn’t even bother picking up the mail that we are daily sending out. Mail rarely comes before 4pm anymore. It’s like the whole street is skipped or something. We live a half mile from the post office. You all need to get your butt in a gear seriously,
I don't know why I put a star when it should be 0 so far. I haven't received my mail consistently for the past 2 weeks. Im looking for important mail and packages that I haven't received yet. It's bad management at the office by what I'm reading in the reviews. I'm going to try to contact the head office if there's any to see if they can do anything about making services better.Ive never had no problem having mail delivered from no post office in the past to this extent. Its like they don't care.
The post office is always delivering mail to the wrong address. They have lost my mail. I tell them someone is not living at this address and they have taken note but keep delivering mail of people not living here. Many times now I have put bills or letters on my mail box to be delivered because I don't have time to always run to the post office or a blue box and they don't bother to pick it up. Now this is part of a mail persons job is to deliver mail and pick up mail that may need to be delivered. It is what they get paid for and more then a normal person. My tax paying money pays them so do the job right. Oh yeah and how the hell do you lose a big package. My wedding video and pictures were lost being shipped to us. I have no faith in the mail system anymore. No wounded why most places are going web or phone rather then us mail.
