I’m afraid of the people who work here. Every time I have to go in, I expect to be fussed at at for something I didn’t understand. I’m sorry, I’m trying to follow instructions, please don’t be mad today, please don’t yell at me again. It’s truly anxiety-inducing and I try to go to other branches when I can.
Website says the lobby and PO Boxes are available until 1pm on Saturdays. The front door says it’s only open until noon. Get your act together, USPS.
the postal worker took my packages from the dropbox inside and put them outside. all because i brought a bike inside the store. since when is a bike a safety hazard?
Most miserable people behind that counter I’ve ever encountered. I felt like i was at the airport which should not be the case. The one by the watergate mall, the employees are the same way. What is up with these people. If you don’t like your job then get a new one because customer service isn’t for you.
You know it’s bad when you, the customer, are more friendlier than the people who actually work in the establishment. Very, very rude black ladies that work in here never any different type of race or gender. They should get some more diversity, as everyone one of them acts like they hate their job towards the customer but laugh and smile amongst each other... I also had some sentimental letters that never reached their destination after sending them out last month from here.
absolutely the worst customer service, especially the middle aged african american female at the counter on Tuesday.
Good location with helpful staff. This location helped me with a very puzzling issue and deserves credit. USPS accidentally delivered a package of mine to the Pakistani Embassy in DC. So bizarre it's almost funny. The lady behind the counter explained what had happened and gave me clear next steps. Then, USPS sent a worker to the embassy to retrieve my package and delivered it later that afternoon. Much to my surprise! I'd given up. I was frustrated and confused, and the workers at this location helped me understand and resolve the issue. They were patient and polite. I'm very grateful.
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The employees are incredibly rude for no reason. I was forced to purchase a faulty envelope that was unusable it was somehow glued shut along the length of the opening that I didn't realize until after I wrote on it thinking it would be usable since it was on the shelf. I wasn't rude at all but was firm about not wanting to pay bc its unusable and not my fault that the a faulty product was on the shelf. But then the manager held my other packages HOSTAGE and threatened to not give any service if I didn't pay the measly $2. Even if I was in the wrong, this was no way to handle the situation. Like I get you hate your job, I've worked retail and customer service before, but it's not hard to treat others with basic decency especially over a $2 product. I ship a bunch of products and will no longer give them my business. Do yourself a favor and walk the extra 2 blocks to the M street store. Way better experience.
Worker was picking her teeth with dental floss. I asked nicely if they had any certified mail receipts, she said I need to wait in line and not approach her. She then started yelling at me saying it's a pandemic. Mind you she has no mask on at this time. She then refused to serve me and let people behind me in the line ahead of me. The whole office denied me service. Toniq is super rude and deserves to be fired. Station manager is non existent. This incident was filed with the proper channels I do hope something is done.
The front staff got mad I approached the counter when no one was in line. Also rolled her eyes when I politely asked to verify the tracking number on the receipt. American customer service at its best. Her entire face screams how much she hates her job and people
