Carrier shut down delivery of mail, reporting my address as vacant . When I inquired why I was asked do you pick up your mail every day? Answer, yes or every 2 days!! I had to point out I was also left no notice. It was shared that the post office as a whole and my carrier particularly had bad records. But seriously folks, pick up your mail every day or else?? I don't appreciate threats. Keep an eye on your mail in 32082 or unexpected consequences could follow.. the carrier says through the ranting raised voice he doesn't have to leave a notice false. But then again, easy to bully an older woman. Such a great look for Ponte Vedra, right? Update: mail not delivered yesterday but incoming per informed delivery email. Man claiming to be the postmaster stated they had 5 days to deliver it. Refused to confirm if this mail was going to be delivered today. Also berated me when I asked why they weren't returning mail marked return to sender address unknown for prior tenants. Basically, they are refusing to as in my opinion that would be expense to create a loss of revenue. Talk about desperate.
This post office does not care about its employees or their mental health let alone their safety!! I’ve never seen such a horrible display of mgmt. I’m sure the higher ups are sitting at home safe while they send their carriers out during a hurricane! All of the weather channels are telling people to stay off the roads.
Went to send package without a taped return slip . I asked this tall dark skin guy that looks like he doesn’t want to be there at all .. law energy . Asked me to buy tape for 4$ And leave the line … Rude 0 in customer service !!! I know they work there for years maybe it’s time to replace does that are so tired and doesn’t like to serve customers!!! BTW I took my package back with me . I don’t trust this Guy
This is probably one of or the nicest post office I have been to. The customer service employees here are extremely pleasent and helpful. The interior is very clean, but the outside could use a little face lift. There is often a line here, so I wouldn't say it's a great place to mail a package quick, but it's certainly acceptable. They offer a drive up mailbox as well as shipping supplies and greeting cards. The mailing service is good. You can track a package, and even overnight something to most domestic destinations. The only issue I have with mailing things here is their machine. I have gotten about 3 items returned to me because the machine tore them up in the past 3 years, but that's not horrible considering I mail about 250-300 things here a year. Overall, this is a very nice place and a good place to go to mail stuff. I will certainly reccomend it to most people.
Worst Post Office ever. Long lines, rude service. No where to drop labeled packages shuttered door says "Closed after 8 am" - What?
This post office does not care about missing packages I did not receive my package I have been calling finding out how they are going to retrieve it no one will call me and tell me what the status is I have gone to the post office myself and talked to the supervisor and the only thing they keep telling me we are working on it what are you doing this is upsetting it was a Christmas present for my daughter now I'm out of a Christmas present and money because they delivered to the wrong House supposedly this was there fault and they want help with it or replace if you don't know how to deliver packages correctly then hire somebody that knows how to do there job
Whomever delivers to The Coast at Ponte Vedra is terrible at their job. I've filled complaints with the postmaster general to no avail. Whenever they don't feel like walking to the stairs to bring a package usually a heavy one it gets returned as "insufficient address". I contact the vendor as advised by USPS, they confirm that the address is correct and in full, but I still have no package. This has happened several times. This is why everyone is using FedEx and UPS.
Best post office in the area. Clean, kind and efficient. I always chose this location now over jax beach.
I used to live and work in downtown Chicago. In comparison this has amazing customer service and friendliness. Sometimes the line can be a bit long but that is to be expected from the US Post Office.
Have been trying to call the Ponte Vedra Post Office for 3 days and no one will pick up the phone. If you call the 1 800 # it is totally automated and you cannot talk to a real person. The US Postal Service is the worst business I have ever had to deal with and would avoid at all costs!!!
