Potomac Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

I've been here everyday to visit my oldest sister. I see how the staff holds themselves to a high standard. The nurses in the Alzheimer's unit works very hard. I know this job cannot be easy. Potomac Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare tries their absolute best to provide care with love and compassion.

I have had the opportunity to work with Potomac Valley's wonderful Activity Director, Mr. Boyet!! He is amazing with the residents. He walks around with his guitar and plays their favorite songs for them. He plans great recreational calendars full of events for all residents no matter what their cognitive/physical status is and staff morale events. The facility is beautiful and he was nice enough to take me on tour and all of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I felt like I was a part of the family. Great facility, Great activities!

The staff at Potomac Valley are driven and polite. I have seen them go "the extra mile" for my uncle Kevin. Not only did they make sure that he was healthy upon his discharge, but they also call in to check on him from time to time. Much respect to the staff for holding my uncle accountable. His health has improved.

Had I seen the reviews that mention a second google listing under 'Potomac Valley Nursing & Wellness Center' and read those reviews, there's no way we would have chosen this facility for my grandmother to recover from her surgical wounds as the reviews are consistent with how my grandmother was treated. While there were some helpful staff members, my grandmother was generally neglected and mistreated by this facility. If you had similar experiences, I urge you to report this to The Office of Health Care Quality OHCQ.

It's easy to create fake accounts and manipulate reviews on Google. Please keep this in mind if you're considering sending a loved one here. They are two different listings for this facility on Maps. Some very rotten people work here.

The staff is always so attentive despite having a heavy load of patients. They really are a Godsend. I am glad that my grandmother is there if she has to be somewhere. This place is a great one.
