Great place, right off route 5. Ample selection, great colors, friendly staff. Speedy processing of pottery. Lots of parking, handicapped accessible. You can paint your own or make with clay. They offer classes or you can go and do your own thing. Lots of fun.
The girls had so much fun! Lost in time in simply painting a ceramic however there is so much more to do! Great place to spend some old fashioned quality time!
I loved this place!! It was super fun for my daughter to use the pottery wheel, and the young women teaching her was knowledgeable and polite! The prices were decent but you definitely get what you pay for quality wise so it's worth it. They offer birthday parties which seemed cool and affordable. Make your own pottery or paint a premade one!
Really disappointed in my experience with Potterville Pottery. Took my grandmother here for her 90th birthday thinking that we were going to work with Clay on a wheel. When I showed up we were asked how much clay do you want I had no idea what she meant we had to pick and try to get any and all information we needed. We were then sat at a table and quickly ran through what to do the person then left and didn't show up for an hour as we just sat there playing with what was an adult version of Play-Doh. Luckily my 9 year old grandmother and I know how to make the best out of bad situations. The lack of communication and instructions was very unprofessional everyone was kosher and nice but that was about the only thing they had going for them. Just be aware if you go there you need to be an experience clay person otherwise you'll be lost in the dark...
There are hundreds of options to choose from as far as choosing something to paint. They have pottery that would suit all different ages from young children to senior citizens. Great place to go on a date or even to bring your parents on fathers/Mother's Day. The staff is friendly and keep your pottery ready for you to pick up.
Very nice. Making pottery on a real potter's wheel was a blast. We also got to sculp. The only downside is that you have to come back a few weeks later to paint, and then a couple weeks after that to pick up the finished product.
Best pottery studio in this area The instructors are very patient and will help you on the pottery wheel or building a piece with coils or any other material of your choice. Laura, the owner is great. If you are looking for a class for you or for kids, this is the place to go.
Good pricing and very helpful staff that give you as much time as you need! They also have an adorable brown bunny named Brownie that hops around. I'd highly recommend this place if your looking for a fun craft project!
My boyfriend and I went today and had a class with Melanie and she was fantastic. Very informative. Taught us how to make our own beanpot and vase. Can't wait to go back and paint our creations. We want to sign up for more classes.
The owner is so rude to the customers, adults and children both! She needs to get a clue on how to run a business. I'm honestly surprised they're still open. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable but the owner acts like she doesn't even want to be there! She harasses the staff as well. I feel so bad for them. Don't waste your money just to paint overpriced figurines and watch the drama.
