We have been coming to this location for years and used our purchases to furnish two homes. Unfortunately things have really gone down hill and we likely won’t return. The staff, who used to be great, are lazy and unhelpful. They’ve also instituted policies that make it near impossible to hold an item or even make a purchase over the phone. Offering a two hour hold to customers who will likely need to use I-95 is just not reasonable. Maybe we’ll return once the economy turns and this place becomes pressed for business but, for now, this outlet and its rude staff are not worth the drive.
Great experience at the pottery barn outlet. I found the couch I have been wanting at half the price! And the staff was super kind and helpful. They helped me look for side chairs to go with my new couch.
Do not like shopping in Pottery Barn outlet because the prices are way overpriced. When you go into the store there are never any other people except employees. Their prices are ridiculous for dishes, utensils and bedding. They do have some nice furniture pieces. I personally purchased a bowl that caught my eye and only picked it up because it was 50% off, which was originally $16.00 $8.00 sale price . Even the clearance items are reduced to ridiculous prices. Will not shop again there!
Both sofa and bedframe arrived with tears that weren't originally there. No assembly instructions or proper number of screws. Was told by PB to go to Lowe's...
I’m done. I’ve been a long time PB customer. Nearly my entire house is from there. I have been shopping at this store since it opened, and now it’s just a giant waste of time. Today I began shopping and found some items in their clearance area, I brought them to the register only to be told they haven’t been inventoried yet, so they couldn’t sell them and they didn’t know when they would. So I shopped around for a while longer, and found some pillows and other items. Like the previous items, the pillows had labels, barcodes, a description, and a price on each of them. I take them up to the register, and was told that they couldn’t be sold to me because they weren’t in plastic. Over $300 worth of items that were labeled that they wouldn’t even sell me after they saw me walking around in the store with them all that time. I have $50 in rewards to spend and I can’t even get them to sell me anything. What a joke and huge waste of time.
Went in on a whim and left empty handed. This store has it all but bring a good credit report and be prepared to take out a loan.if you.plan to shop here! Whatever you THINK the item costs add a "0" and you might be in the ball park LOL. This is the "Harley Davidson" of home goods...
Glad we made the trip, despite the mixed reviews! The staff were kind, helpful and accommodating. There was a large selection available and discounts were between 40-60% off the price you see online.
Definitely worth the drive if you are thinking of visiting. The outlet runs percentages off certain items, i.e sofas, dining, etc. The tags as marked as usually not so far from retail prices, unless there is significant damage. We picked up some awesome bar stools and saved a few hundred dollars, with nothing appearing to be wrong with them. Great store- will definitely be back.
Sometimes you can find a great deal, and sometimes you're better off going elsewhere. I am a fan of the sofas and all wood dressers and furniture. The linens are super pricey, though. Staff is ALWAYS super nice and helpful.
Great staff but prices have gone up dramatically since first opening. Also, a little bit junky - big bins of pillowcases and sheets that might sell if they are displayed better. Again, nice people working in the store - very helpful, and I love to visit, I just think it needs a bit more polish.
