I am so relieved to have found this bakery! My kids and I have been looking for Princess cake for several years. I don’t know what took me so long to find Poul’s Bakery, considering it’s been around since 1955! Princess cake happens to be their specialty which is wonderful news for us! The service is excellent, personalized and very accommodating. I tried the cannoli with chocolate chip filling and pistachio topping, and it was hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten! So was the Princess cake with housemade marzipan yum. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be a regular from here on out.
I highly recommend Poul’s bakery for your next cake. Poul’s made my 2 tier wedding cake and sheet cake. Not only was the cake delicious and one of the best desserts I’ve had, we also received a lot of compliments from our guests on how good the cake was. The quality and flavor was exactly what I wanted. Ayliz was so great to work with and very responsive. She baked the cake just like the picture and we can’t wait to order another one for our 1 year anniversary :.
Poul’s Bakery is such a great place to get your cakes. Ayliz was great at talking through with me the best options for my sister’s gender reveal and explaining pricing along the way. She also checked in with me after the event to make sure everything went well. The cake was delicious and all our guests loved it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great bakery with great people!
Poul's bakery is a GEM We had the Limoncello cake and cannolis and they were fabulous. They have specialty desserts that ive never seen before. It was easy to place the order and picked up next day. People were so nice. Can't wait to go back to try more.
Tried the burnt almond cake. Mom doesn’t like overly sweet desserts. I do. Somehow, this cake pleased everyone’s palates! It has a perfect balance of sweetness and decadence. The customer service was wonderful also. I can’t wait to try one of the many mouth watering desserts they offer, from cannoli to a a Swedish princess cake to good old Boston Crème pie! They weren’t voted best in OC for no reason.
We ordered the princess cake for my daughter’s baptism and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone was commenting on how good the cake was! Thank you!
Misleading so let me relay some info: this is not a walk-in buy your items bakery. Their hours are unknown but not the hours listed here. You have to order in bulk? I wanted to drop in and get a brownie- you can’t do that. This is not a real business- save your gas and time.
I just want to thank the Poul’s Bakery in Tustin for making our event special, with their delicious tasting masterfully crafted custom cake Was superb, all we did show them the picture of a cake that we liked from France, and she made it exactly the same ,all the details were perfect ,she suggested the Bavarian cream filling ,and it is out of this World ,not too sweet not to dull we recommend that filling ,and they also delivered it to our location for a reasonable price. Thank you Poul’s Bakery, we will definitely recommend you to our friends and for sure we will order my daughters up coming birthday cake from you .
We recently moved from Minnesota, land of many great Princess Cakes Tortes, and we were all so relieved and happy to know that we can find a good Princess Cake locally at Poul’s!! The ordering and pickup process was easy and efficient. The 6” cake was more than plenty for four adults. Flavors are best when cake is room temp so plan accordingly, since the cake was refrigerated.
I ordered the cannolis from Poul’s Bakery and I must say delicious. I’m originally from NY and they taste very similar. Everyone whom ate it loved the taste. Will def be coming back soon.
