I always have a great time here: fishing, kayaking, live music, friendly people. Can't wait to come back!
We stay there all the time, Best gem on the Third Coast. People are awesome and the owners are top notch! Cant Wait to come back again.Rooms: 5/5
The people of Powderhorn were great. My family set camper up for a month and we went out on a Saturday to spread my dad's ashes in his favorite fishing spot. They had a Halloween party the same night and I met some of the folks he knew. Nice folk
This place is a real trailer dump RV. Do not read my lips do not make reservations there. It's not safe for kids or yourself. The pictures are false
I stayed at Powderhorn RV Park from Dec 30 to Apr 15 this past year. I can only say that Mike owner/manager was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to make me comfortable and included me in the social events. Every month they had a songwriter come in to do a concert. They also had month birthday bashes. The park has a clubhouse and a bathroom trailer with showers. The lake is well know for its Redfish and Black Drum. The majority of the other residents of the park were very friendly. Couldn't have asked for better neighbors. Even the few that weren't friendly...they weren't rude or anything. They were just shy. To sum it up .... I hope they have an opening for me next winter when I return to south Texas.
Absolutely great community and awesome fishing. With breath taking sunrises & sunsets!
I have stayed there a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Ownership is a "salt of the earth" kind of guy, and made it even better
Awesome park with all kinds of necessities and you're right Mike and Lisa are also wonderful owners
