Been going to this place for years and it’s really great for açaí bowls, oatmeal, and smoothies. For the açaí bowls, unlike most places, you have to add the fruit as a topping it doesn’t just come with it. They have warm oatmeal with fresh fruit and it’s super delicious! I think all the fruit was in season because the Acai bowl was so sweet! The employee was not wearing a mask when we went in, but there was also no one in there. We kept our distance and used hand sanitizer. The order took a bit longer than expected but they made us a fresh Acai for our bowls.
You can get delicious and healthy Acai power bowls. They offer variety of toppings such as fresh fruits and nuts.
Went in yesterday with my friend to get something refreshing and the wait time was INSANE! There was only one employee at the counter and one person sitting waiting for his order. We came in and ordered after a couple of minutes because the worker went in the back. After taking our order she was BARELY starting to make the previous order. We patiently waited 25 minutes for a single juice until but that’s not it after waiting so long she told us “we don’t the fruits I need to make your juice” LITERALLY. She was super slow and asked to get a refund and didn’t know how to
Tasty, healthy acai bowls that are pretty reasonably priced, but they could only offer about half of the advertised menu and it took about three times as long as I would have expected to pour granola on top of a prescribed smoothie. It kind of felt like the place was knowingly going out of business, especially since the person working there seemed disengaged. Overall I might go back if I'm not feeling particular about what I want and am not in rush.
The flavor and quality of their stuff is fantastic. The shop is huge and very clean. The rate of service however, is awful. I dont blame the workers though. I know they didn't decide that having one person in the shop at lunch time was a good idea. I've never been in this place when there was more than one person working. I waited 30 minutes for a smoothie once y'all. I recommend the place, but only come if you have spare time.
This review is based solely on the employee working at the time that I went. I walked in and there was no one at the counter, and a man standing waiting in line. The man told me he had ordered food 20 minutes before and the kid picked up a phone call and went in the back. Finally the kid came out, still on the phone. He began preparing the food, without changing his gloves from whatever he did in back. When I got my order, it was the wrong size, contained one fruit I did not ask for and did not contain a fruit that I did ask for. There was way more granola in my bowl than acai. Despite all this, the fruit itself was of good quality and tasted good so I bet another employee would have made this a 5 star review.
My go to when in downtown for shopping, coffee or after yoga. Awesome bowls, not watered down, lots of acai and great crunchy granola. Fast service and the portion is so big I usually eat one half and then the other half later that day. They also have great coffee!
I was visiting from Los Angeles and saw this place, so I thought I would stop in. Let me just say worse service ever! The girls were really chatty with each other with the exception of a girl named Cierra who was very helpful. The owner of this place definitely favors certain girls as he was very rude to an employee right in front of me. Places like this make me sick especially when they embarrass their employees in front of guest. As for the food, I had a panini royale and the chicken was so dry and had a freezer burn taste to it. Such a waste of money!
I love power bowl! The staff are amazing and always so sweet and friendly. The açaí bowls come out perfect, not too liquidity and not overly thick. This location is huge and really clean. I wish there was a power bowl near me in the peninsula... I always make sure to stop by SJ powerbowl when I pass by.
