NOW ENROLLING GRADES 6-10! Power Tech (PTEC), opened in the fall of 2016, is a tuition-free trade school that serves secondary students in the El Paso County area. PTEC was created by the award-winning James Irwin Charter Schools. Now enrolling grades 6-10 for the 2018-2019 school year, PTEC pays the student's tuitiont to earn an associate's degree in a skilled trade. Trades taught at PTEC include CAD, construction, manufacturing, machining, welding, HVAC, plumbing, electronics.
