This place is awesome! Michael went above and beyond for me making me a breakfast sandwich during lunch hours and was courteous. Places and people that do this deserve the recognition for the little things.
Super friendly girl working the counter. Unfortunately because of weather they closed for the day. But I will stop again. Way better service than across the road.
If I could rate less than 1 star, I most certainly would. I would take my buisness elsewhere. Perhaps the fuel-stop/restaurant directly across the road.
Truly good people. Excellent place to bed down for the night. Good food. But what the owner and employee's did for a lost old man from Florida was heart warming. Renews my faith in humanity. I plan on stopping there every time I'm in the area.
Sinkholes in the lot are terrible, if your going to own a truck stop, maintain the lot or improve it. 2 trucks stuck tonight alone. Other drivers have no respect for the place because it's not kept up on. Throwing pallets right off their trailers for other drivers to have to pick up for a parking space
Great little truck stop with great hot box and fresh food at a decent price
This gas station has Pepsi fountain drinks, but I got charged $2.99 for a 52 ounce which is about double what a gas station typically charges.Other then that not much to say. It's a gas station and it usually has lower prices than Brookings does, and it's off the beaten path. I enjoy gas stations placed outside of major towns. This one and the one across the street work in a pinch, though I typically hit up the newer station along the Baltic exit most of the time. This one has 2 dedicated pumps for big rigs and isn't as busy as the one in Baltic so truckers may prefer this one.
Don't bother anymore. I would suggest going elsewhere. Now they want you to prepay for fuel even though they could just look out the back window and see the name on your truck. Considering how much I've stopped here over the last decade I find it insulting. This was my regular stop.
Nasty, nasty, nasty truck stop. Pulled up to fill my tank and there was no paper to get a receipt outside, so went in, stood in line with 4 people in front of me to get this cashier, couldn't tell if it was a she/he, with an attitude!!!! How difficult is it to simply load paper into gas pumps??? Then, to top it off, a man with hair down to his butt, was cooking at the grill with no hair net nor anything to hold his hair back. Will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER stop at this greasy, dirty station again!!!!
The staff is always pleasant and good, greasy junk food is made hot and fresh for the road!
