Prairie Park at the Pittsfield Township Administration Building

When I was Clerk in Pittsfield Township, one day I asked my husband to bring our walk behind brush mower, & I mowed down the weeds. That was the start of Prairie Park

Swings are bucket style so 5 yr+ likely cannot use them. Fun "Zip line" on one of the play structures. Mowed portions of field create a nature trail of sorts.

Great playground and some short fun paths. The playground equipment seems new. My daughter calls it “tunnel” park, she loves it! They have the farmers market here too.

This park features two large play structures and an unpaved nature trail through a small area of mixed prairie and wetland. Probably on the hot and buggy side during the summer, but perfect for little ones during the rest of the year. Rarely crowded, and convenient parking.

Awesome playground, a few picnic tables around. Well maintained short trails around the prairie, it can be more than soggy especially in the spring, making some of the trails unusable.

A lovely local playground. Pro tip: Kid needs a potty break? There are very nice public restrooms in the township office when open across the parking lot!

Very convenient, well maintained play area for 2 to 5 year old kids. Lot of parking and easy access either from Work Michigan Ave or Plat Road. It is less crowded compared to other nearby play areas.

The Farmers Market was in the parking lot here. Gorgeous veggies, baked goods, honey, and a food truck.

Nice walking paths and beautiful flowers and plants to see. Trail maps located intermittently along routes.
