Description

The Prairie Township Community Center opened in June 2015 after years of planning by the Prairie Township Trustees.

The Community Center is open to all. Our mission is to "Build a FUN, Healthy Community!" So come as you are to the PTCC and we will help you on your journey to a healthier lifestyle.

We offer swimming lessons for all ages along with group exercises classes, senior activities, summer day camp for kids and recreational opportunities for all.

I've been a member here for years and can say the staff is wonderful. I want to express my appreciation for Elijah who always has a positive outlook on working at the community center. For the past several weeks I have seen Elijah working outside in the rain, scorching heat, but everytime I see him he's always in good spirits.  As a long time member I hope the community center will recognize Elijah's hard work, dedication, professionalism, and positive demeanor. It's employees like Elijah that make it easy to keep renewing my membership.

I had an autopayment set up with them for an entire year then all of a sudden you had to start making Manuel payments or something. I've called numerous times to make sure they had the card on file which they do. They kept reporting my payments late which I mean they were in control since you know how auto payments work. Then after 3 times making sure they have the card. They continue to not draw payment and threaten to put the last month payment into collections through my uncle instead of simply calling me and addressing their incompetence. I stop going to this gym for two reasons, a lack of organization and no sauna. Save yourself the headache. Very unprofessional and this is the "new management" what a joke. Christian the new manager didn't even call me back. So someone must really not want this whole $26 bucks I'm being harrased and threatened about when they literally have the card on file. Make it make sense!!!!

The staff is very courteous and it's in a good area.   Has a swimming pool.  Great for families.  I wish there were more exercise machines.

Great compact facility. There is an aerobics area with several treadmills and other cardio machines. There is a full body machine weights circuit. There is an ample free weight area. Upstairs there are some bikes and a walking track. I didn't use the locker room or the pool but my dad tells me it is pretty nice. The staff were very nice, welcoming, and hospitable.

A nice place, not too crowded, and the website gives accurate information about hours and holiday closures etc so I don’t waste time going over if it’s closed. Everyone is always nice and they keep it spotless.

Clean, courteous staff and plenty of equipment but note weekend are mostly kids so best time for adults us during the week.

Facility is newer and beautiful maintained. They offer fitness equipment, group classes, and kid sports.

The community center is amazing the staff is friendly and helpful the center is clean and they have every amenity you can think of to help get your body moving and there's no body shaming so I'm all about that!!

Splash pad in the back. Indoor swimming pool. Full court basketball. Indoor walk track. Exercise equipment

Courtenay Chaffin and her team of swim instructors are the worst I have ever dealt with. Poor communication, inappropriate conversations in front of children, accusing parents of not following directions that were NOT provided, instructors who did not properly teach skills... I could go on and on. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SWIM LESSONS- your child will be humiliated and the staff will treat you even worse.
