They are amazing! Very patient with my crazy dogs. Definitely will keep coming back. Only place my dogs feel comfortable. <3
They do amazing with my Samoyed. They always make sure to get out all the loose undercoat and he never comes back with mats or tangles like previous grooming places he had gone to in the past. They get him in and out very quickly as well which is always great since he is very dramatic about being separated for long.
I have brought my dog here for the last 2 groomings. Carolyn has provided the service both times. My dog is very comfortable with her and she has provided great service on both visits. Carolyn recognizes my dogs hesitation and takes it into account while providing a comfortable atmoshere for her. She looks great after every visit. This is a great and convenient location.
Tiffany did a wonderful job! She smells amazing and looks more beautiful than a long time. I really appreciate you!! Thank you! She’s beautiful!
I’m happy for those customers that have good experiences! Sadly I did not and left in shock. I, personally, will not be sending any business their way. I did not feel comfortable voicing my displeasure to the lady at the front desk. I felt her approach was harsh and unnecessary. I paid full price and tip….chalked it up to a very expensive lesson. I cannot recommend them but if you do decide to go I wish you luck. Perhaps go through recent reviews. My regular groomer is at Teddys Dog house. I was shopping for a back-up groomer. I was sad tho because I understand a groomer there is experienced with standard poodles. I will never see their work. I would like to let you know I did not go into specifics because it’s not necessary and I not here to sling mud. Every groomer and groom is a separate experience. I just had a bad experience. Yours might be very different.
Ollie and his humans love Tiffany! She has been consistently punctual, professional, and skilled for the 2+ years she has been grooming our dog. Her calm voice is soothing to him even during the nail trim. And she trims his mohawk so perfectly! Thank you Tiffany and PPPS!
I have two dogs, one is a Golden. I have had them groomed for years, even with the de-shedding. I brought them to Prancin' Paws for a try last week. I can not believe the difference in the Golden! They did such a great job, my life isn't covered in dog hair anymore!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Last month my Yorkie was groomed at Prancin' Paws. When I arrived to pick up my dog, I was told that she was given a large treat. I told the groomer that she shouldn't be given any treats because she is on a very strict prescription diet. Later that day, my dog got a bad case of diarrhea. So I took her to the vet. Later that night, after the vet closed, I took her to an ER since she now had very bloody diarrhea. Now that she has been on medication she has gotten better, but she is still on the meds a month later. The pet spa owners still haven't gotten back to me, after I notified them & sent them all the documentation, they requested, of her vet visits. They have not taken any responsibility for this mistake. They should never give food or treats to a client's pet without speaking to the client first. Needless to say, I will never take my dog back there. If you take your pet there you could be risking their health. They are careless & not accountable for their actions!
I have been taking my dog here for over 3 years, and until a few days ago absolutely loved them. I got a phone call the day before my dog was due to go in for grooming to let me know "her groomer" had decided to part ways "a few days ago" and until they could find a replacement, they could no longer provide services to her anymore and I would have to find another groomer to take her to. However, the person who left was courteous enough to leave some recommendations if I would like them... I was also told that they were looking for someone else, but until then, they could not accommodate me, but they would let me know when they could. I understand losing a staff member can cause issues in scheduling, and not having enough time to see all the clients, but the way this was handled was not very professional, and in my opinion not the way to do business. I have been going to them for years and was a very loyal client who had a standing appointment every 5 weeks. How did they pick and choose who they were not going to see anymore, because I know for a fact that my dog was groomed by more than just the groomer who left? Shouldn't the newer clients have been let go first? Were they? I didn't really get a very good explanation, and the one I did get was insufficient. It's hard to find a really good groomer here that does what you ask, your dog is not there all day long, and your dog actually likes going there without being overly anxious. There have been horror stories about how dogs are treated at the groomers, so being put in this situation has really left a very negative opinion of Prancin' Paws and the way they have handled this. Whether or not they get a new groomer now is of no consequence, they have lost a loyal customer. You just don't treat your loyal customers this way.
We just picked up our big long hair boy from Prancin’ Paws and are very happy with their service. They’re prompt, communicative, reasonably priced and did a great job!
