My son loved it as much as me and my brothers loved it when they first built the wooden playground. Everything has been tore down and updated plastic and metal playground equipment replaced it all. Very modern, safe, and fun for the whole family no matter the age!!
Nice place to visit with your children less than 10yo. It looks many changes compare to pictures 1year ago by others. Very clean and safe swing and see-saw!
This is the best park. I have been taking my kids since they were little. They still like to go. They have updated it significantly. We always take old bread for the ducks and geese at the pond next door!
Love love love this park! From the playground equipment to the splash pad. Truly a kids place. The ducks can be a bit much if ur trying to have a meal lol
New and updated with watch tower and interactive electrical games... please keep our parks clean as you find it... and let's have fun together.... Playground: New electrical interactive boards,music area and parent interactive playground Restrooms: Clean and they added a handicap kids chasing stations Picnic area: Clean tables with lots of trash cans
Best place I have took my grand daughter in a while. Happy Mother's Day 2023 Playground: I love the fact that the playground has signs for designated play groups and the verity of groups for the kids. You can fish and the kids can enjoy the splash pad. They also have a swimming area and much more. This is a beautiful park.
I wish there were not so many openings for the kids to exit. All in all, very good remodel. Some nice shady spots to sit while the children play.
Clean. Awesomely large kids fenced in playground. Small lake nearby- feed the ducks corn, peas, and oats but NO bread yall for fun. Small stream along the back that’s nice to sit by.
I remember when the previous equipment was put up and the excitement behind it. And up until it was removed, I enjoyed that park with my nephews and nieces over the years. The most recent renovations are exciting too and the park seems bigger. I was there with my five year old nephew who always has lots of energy and likes to climb. There was plenty for him to do and we didn't even get to all of it. He absolutely loved the rock climbing structure. He climbed it twice. He loved the merry-go-round swing thing. Waiting to get on that was tricky. You have kids staying on it for long periods and kids just coming up when anyone gets off oblivious to other kids waiting. Maybe a designated waiting area and an automatic timer would be useful for that. My only other gripe was trying to keep up with my nephew. I like to keep my eyes on him at all times to make sure he's not being mistreated by other kids or adults and it was DIFFICULT at times! The middle structure is high and has many parts. I'll have to come with another adult so I feel comfortable. Overall, I love the renovation. I'll definitely be back numerous times. One of my favorite parts was the maracas we played with as we exited.
Having just moved to Prattville a couple of months ago and thinking what a great city it is, this was a treasured bonus to find!! With all that is put in our food these days, it is so nice to be able to buy fresh, LOCAL meats, fruits, and veggies!! I will buy as many groceries as I can here, as often as possible. I highly recommend you don't miss out! Do what you can to help your community, and enrich your own healthy life in the process!!
