The receptionists are an absolute disgrace down there!! When they finally actually answer the phone they're incredibly rude and unhelpful! I was left on hold by one of them for a full 19 minutes after which she told me she'd have a reply to my query. She eventually swore she was "transferring" me to the surgery's manager which went straight to voicemail!!
The doctors are all lovely and I've been very happy to deal with them. The receptionists are so rude. When I was explaining something to one by phone the other day, the phone went dead mid sentence, and another person picked up. When I explained my problem to her, she put me back to the first lady, who berated ME for not explaining it to the other receptionist! Ringing for a repeat prescription is frankly embarrassing. Last year I was made to feel like I was begging for some antihistamines... for hay fever! The doctor apologised to me when I was out on to her, but it's still not good enough. Despite the doctors themselves being lovely, the waiting times are also madness and can become 60 minutes or over. Not good.
Dr Ryan is a lovely & very helpful doctor. However, the receptionists just let the whole team down. Number 1, they do no pick up the phone, it constantly just rings out. When they do, they havent a clue what's going on. They seem highly disorganized and uneducated. Waiting times when you have an appointment are also a disaster, but I wonder do they even book you in correctly in the beginning? It's a shame this clinic does not invest in hiring the correct front of house staff. Being greeted by rude unprofessional staff does not give you a good impression
I just want to say that Ann Marie nurse is an absolute angel for making me feel as comfortable while getting my bloods taken. For someone who is terrible with getting my bloods taken she made this expierence as easy as she could. I really appreciated that.
The reception is terrible..they all to be changed...disrespectful.. Never answer the phone...TERRIBLE
A solid disgrace to deal with. Rang the 9th of October last year was told id be an emergency call back and I'm still waiting. Two weeks ago I rang everyday 30 times a day until the Friday morning when I finally got an answer they asked could it wait until next week I said no it can't im ringing Two weeks I need to be seen and needless to say I still havnt heard back. Ye are an absolute disgrace to deal with in every way possible and should be ashamed of yere self's.
The reception is terrible. They don't listen. Constant mistakes and mix ups. Being trying to get them to send a prescription to a pharmacy for months. They assume they know what you are trying to ask them to do and when it all goes wrong they say well you shouldn't be asking us to send prescriptions to a pharmacy in the first place! I live in Limerick so now I have to travel back 70 km to deliver a prescription to a pharmacy 500 yards away from the clinic because these people can't follow simple instructions from a paying patient. However the Doctors are fantastic but if I could change to a different clinic I would.
Went for a rather serious Electrocardiograph test. Was told they would get back to me. Two weeks later, I’ve heard nothing. Still experiencing sharp chest pain and breathlessness, I called to ask, and it went straight to voicemail. I’m sure this violates some kind of code of conduct for a doctors, it really shouldn’t even be open.
I was in the Doctor the other day and the are not very nice welcome to patients the reception you going to Doctor with a problem and they make you fell like you the problem.the black hair receptionist is very not pleasent to deal with.i dont think they know that people might have severe anxiety coming in there and facing them to deal with before you see the doctora even etc.and there making a trip to the Doctor worst i was in bits after the long black hair receptionist treated me the way you wouldnt do it to a dog they need to relise that people coming to this clinic with severe problems and there jobs is to make that experience easier for us patiens.i think they should have a basic customer service training.
The receptionist won't answer the phones and when they do they tell you to call back at 2 and never answer . They keep hanging up!!
