I have done intensive training so that I could acquire the knowledge needed to do this for you....etc. Sandals Resorts certified, Freestyle Specialist certified for Norwegian Cruises lines, just to name a few. Recently acquired a certificate as an SNG CERTIFIED ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL ADVOCATE, providing special needs equipment for my client as they travel.
I think to be a good travel agent you need to be able to listen, and listen carefully! It is important to understand what my clients want before I can suggest to them a destination.
