Preston Animal Clinic

Today my little Indian Ringneck, Sunny, had his first checkup and it was a great first visit. My other ringneck, Luna, also comes in for wellness examinations and both my parrots love the Harrison's pellets! Thank you so much to the staff at Preston Animal Clinic for always giving us such great service, health advice and care. I highly recommend this clinic!

I have been using this vet clinic for the last 10 years. I have brought 4 of my own pets here and referred many friends. We commute here even though we no longer live in Cambridge. The entire staff are kind, friendly, fair and professional. We are grateful to have found them.

Really glad to find this awesome clinic. All staffs are very nice and patient. Brought my sweet Caramel 4 years old guinea pig in yesterday. She has a really big tumour on her shoulder. Doctor Laurie is very kind and knowledgeable. She explained all the options and the worse results with me. Unfortunately test result confirmed the tumour is an aggressive one. Luckily Caramel is doing all fine at the moment. Eating and moving a Lot as usual. Will monitor her behaviour change. With medications, hope I can keep her for another year. Highly recommend this clinic. Definitely will come back for all my furry friends.

I highly recommend Preston Animal Clinic. They treat my dog Brick so kind. He used to whine when we went to a previous vet. He never does this and enjoys all the attention. They always call to see how he is doing. Will add pictures on next visit

For the most part, PAC has been very helpful and attentive. I recently about a month and a half ago brought my cat in for appeared to be an upper respiratory infection. While there, we discussed that it could be allergies. Her nose was very congested, she was sneezing, she had eye discharge. The veterinarian said it was a cold and to allow it to run its course it had already run 2 weeks prior to the appointment. The only medication I was provided was to help clear the nose congestion. After 2.5 weeks, I called the vet again asking for advice because the eye discharge and sneezing hadn’t stopped. I was told “because it’s almost been a month, you’ll have to come for a whole new appointment”. That’s +$200. And only half a month! Why didn’t the vet properly assess the first time?? The receptionist said she will talk to the veterinarian and get back to me… she never did. I’m very disappointed.

So as a first time Reptile owner in general I had myself looking all over to lay out all options for an exotic vet. I stumbled across this clinic and decided to give ‘em a call as it was time my little man had his first check up! Woman who I spoke to on multiple occasions over the phoneSarah was super kind and helpful! She was able to answer all my questions so I was prepared and knew what to expect when arriving and what would happen during my appointment. Upon my appointment day I was greeted at the front desk by another friendly woman whom I can’t remember her name but she was super kind and friendly:. The vet I had take a look at my Loki was super friendly and very knowledgeable. She went over everything and did all the proper checks for health that any vet would do for your animal. : Not many of the reviews specifically say anything on reptiles so I hope my fellow reptile keepers do stumble upon this! I highly recommend checking this clinic out if you’re looking for friendly service and for vets you know will treat and handle your animal with care :.

Dr Christine was our vet at our recent first time visit to to this clinic and she was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. Plus they got me in the morning after I called! We'll be back for future visits as needed. P.S. The meds took well, no more diarrhea for Jr! Thanks!

The staff are amazing to the customers both human and not. Our dog has some anxiety and within a few visits she's already calmed so much when we visit due to the care they provide her. Will always recommend this clinic!

Really like this clinic overall. I have been to several exotic vetrinarians in the area and Preston Animal Clinic and Dr. Gerritsen has been the best I have worked with. They care about your animals and have a lot of patience for overly anxious and worried pet parents. They also have shown me a lot of empathy. Exotic vetrinary medicine is very pricey, and their fees are about the same as other clinics I have been to.
