Home of Pismo Beach founder John Price, this 1893 home is being restored and is located in Price Historical Park along with Meherin House, built in 1905 by his daughter, Marianne, and her husband Mr. Meherin. Tours of the home are at 1pm on 1st &3rd Sundays, except holidays. Or as arranged. (805)550-4854
John Price was born in England in 1810; migrated to California; was granted a large tract of land now known as Pismo Beach and Price Canyon. He started out in an adobe structure and later built the Price House to honor his wife on their 49th anniversary. The Meherin House was re-located to the Price Historical Park to make way for housing development. Restoration of both houses is underway.
