Dr Adams, is very thorough and easy to discuss concerns. He is straight forward which makes plan of care clear. We appreciate all his does and the time he takes to make sure things are not overlooked. His nurse is awesome.
Went in specifically to get labs done to check iron levels. Got done with my appointment and was called with results and was told by the medical assistant that everything looked good on CBC and CMP, I asked about the iron levels and she said those were normal too. Got access to my portal to find an iron panel was not even ran. Complete waste of my time.
My nurse was awesome!!! He gave me advice on injection placement for a T shot. I wasn't expecting to have that in common with him; it made me feel very safe.
I needed a drug test from my employer, so I chose this location since it was close to me. I thought I could finish faster, but I ended up waiting for one hour! Can you believe it? If they don't have the resources or equipment, they shouldn't run or promote themselves as a medical center. If I were to rate this place, I would give it minus -1000000."l
I had just arrived from Fla and felt lousy. I was seen quickly, treated with respect, P.A. was thorough. Facility was clean and well maintained. They followed up the next day with a script I needed. I'd go there again & highly recommend them
I visited this location recently. I was checked in within three minutes, called back to get my vitals recorded, and into a room within about 10 minutes max. and waited 15-20 in the clinic room, all very reasonable. NP Sheridan Jones was efficient, nice, and explained everything very well. I would recommend to anyone needing healthcare.
Went in to get an X-ray of my foot after a fall, got the X-ray, was told that there’s *likely* a fracture, but since the radiologist wasn’t in, I’d hear back by the end of the night. Never heard back. Didn’t hear back the next day despite calling twice and asking for a call back. They finally called back on the third day and told me that a plan of care had already been discussed—but I still hadn’t been told who I was referred to. Just bad communication. Have been sitting here with a fractured foot waiting to hear back based on them telling me that I’d get a call…just to never get a call. When I did find out who I was referred to, they had no availabilitywhich I know isn’t anyone’s fault but now I have to wait on the doctor to refer me to a St Luke’s sports medicine clinic— and I’m not excited about that based on how communication has gone thus far.
I went in for a covid rest for work even though I had taken a positive home test, my work wanted one from a provider. I was in the middle of having it so I was not wanting to be there, but I wasn't cranky. The doctor or practitioner that helped me was unfriendly and seemed bothered that I was even there. When I asked her to check my ears for an issue I was having she was not helpful at all and sarcastically offered to help if she had too. I don't recommend going to Primary health on Broadway!
Not a professional or pleasant expereince. Receptionist and person taking vitals were great, but the doctor was unbelieveable. I came in with a sinus infection, waited for 30 ish minutes in significant pain. The doctor came in, didn't sit down, just made sure I was the correct patient and then told me I needed to wait another 6 days for antibiotics and he was essentially done with me. I understand the science of virus vs. bacteria. The doctor is probably right. But could you spend 3 minutes to ask about the pain. Could you sit down and treat me like a human and not a ticket to be processed? Could you ask about the history of sinus infections, which I've had several? I was told to buy an over the counter nasil spray. Not told how long to use it. Not told how to use it. Not told a generic would also work. I was not told how to manage the pain safely. I wasn't given any "if X happens" come back. Seems like significant lack of care that could leave open libability issues. When I commented that I wouldn't be functional in another day or two given the trajectory of the pain, I was treated like a child with the offer to write a note to my work and told that "rest was important for recovery." I was treated like a junky looking for naroctics not an adult in pain with a history of a similar symptoms. *** Because this story continues I thought I would add to my review. *I should add the the original doctor did neither a patient history beyond asking the date the symptoms started or a physical exam - he did not within 6 feet of me.* The night after my visit I went home and was in enough pain that I was considering an emergency room visit. The pain was a step down from what I experienced with a dislocated shoulder, but with no aparent end in sight. Thankfully the OTC meds did their job and the pressure was at least partially relieved. Over the next 5 days the discomfort spread to my ears, my throat and to the sinuses above my eye. The pain was reduced, but woke me up multiple times each night and kept me awake for a period of time. Today, 5 days after the visit, I was called about the original review. The conversation was very kind, human and professional. Thank you! In that call I was mentioned the original doctor was to have left a note for antibiotic prescription that I could fill after waiting 10 day with symptoms. No note was left and I was told another doctor would call within 2 hours. I waited 4 and called back. The recepiontist was super polite and professional, but had no idea what I was talking about and said the original doctor was not working for the next 2-3 days so I would have to see another doctor. I asked for the person who had called me, but I must have had the name wrong as the recepiontist didn't know who that person was or might be. While I understand the outcome, it was not outcome I had been promised by either the doctor or the person who called me. In the end rather than return to the Urgent care, my regular doctor's office was able to squeeze me in between other patients. They did a proper patient history, basic physical exam, gave me a referral to ENT and a prescription all in 15 minutes while being professional and kind.
I'm SO grateful that you got me in and out so efficiently. You answered all my questions and were very warm and friendly : Even though I wouldn't want to be sick again, I would go back to Primary Health!
