There are only a few things you need to know about: this place to know you are in good stead. The Father Dave Moore, the Son Brad Moore, and the plant manager John House. Shoot, you say Dave Moore. I say. Wow. That guy is one of the most true to the blue hard worker's there ever was. And he loves the Lord and tries his human best to do what the Lord would want. It all flows from there. Brad and John, and the whole team, you are all a cut above. I pray every one of you are blessed today and everyday for your hard work and patience against any complication. And when you call you will probably hear Crystal on the other end and she will begin you on a great experience with a great company.
To start off, I will try to be fair with my evaluation but it is really hard to compare a versatile van that has power and achieves 25 mpg, to one that, so far, is far less adaptive and averages only14 mpg. Power-wise, the Ford seems comparable to the Sprinter, but overall I miss my Sprinter. Here are my thoughts: a. Items you need to upgrade with the 2020 model: Adaptive cruise control, Blind spot monitoring side view mirrors, Home Link, keyless entry system, factory equipped electric sliding door, daytime running lights, auto temp control system, heated steering wheel. These items, while each costing a bit more, are well worth the extra expense. I would have gladly paid extra for these items had they been available. My research on these items clearly shows them available starting with the 2020 model, however, you may need to start with a passenger van not a cargo van. I also have a 2018 Toyota Sienna LE with the Braunability package, all of these items are part of the vehicle, at a much lower cost. b. Items you should offer to make the Avenger series at least as nice as my 17 year old Sprinter was. Improved quality of rear seats. I upgraded my rear seats to Flexsteel Captain's seats that had full electric recline ability. Rear seats in the Ford are not recliners or as comfortable as the seats I had. Entertainment system should have cordless headsets rather than use the vehicle speakers. You could wire the sound system to accept either the vehicle speakers or headsets, users choice. The TV, while a nice size, seems to determine the roof height over the driver's seat. I am lucky that my transfer seat allows me to lower the seat enough for me to be able to drive at a comfortable height. If I were any taller my head would rub on the ceiling, I have bumped my head several times transferring from my wheelchair to the driver's seat. Very important, modify window tinting by Ford to delete the dark tint from the rear windows. As dark as these windows are on the Ford, rear visibility from the rear view mirror is poor. Between the height of the rear seat headrests and darkness of the rear windows the rearview mirror is pretty useless for the driver. c. Mobility, I do not feel you made the Ford van to be driven independently. As a mobility impaired individual, I treasure my independence. This vehicle, while almost allowing full independence, is not nearly as adaptive as my 17 year old Sprinter was. In fact my wife has christened the Ford as "Das Biest". Translated from German, the beast. The Ford needs multiple locations to operate the door slider and the lift. On the Sprinter I had 5 different locations I could use to operate the slider and lift. The one tether for this lift is neither convenient nor well placed. Each time I use the lift I have to stretch the cable while holding onto the controls. I can not carry anything while loading/unloading. If I transfer to the driver's seat before securing the lift I have to go back, secure the lift and then transfer. Loading other passengers into the back end of the van makes passengers have to maneuver around my occupied wheelchair to pass from the lift successfully. Needless to say, independence is cumbersome. Also, the switch for the driver to turn the lift off, is poorly placed. A better spot would be on the console between the driver and passenger to allow use from either front seat. Anything that can be done to enhance independence should be done. The designer should be placed into a wheelchair and test all operations from a chair before finalizing any design. Finally, if you are going to appeal to the mobility impaired, seek out a consultant that is truly impaired to evaluate everything from access to switch placement thus insuring the final product does what it is supposed to do. FANTASTIC COMPANY — IGNORE THE 1 STAR REVIEWS! I hired Prime Time to work on my RAM Promaster in January of 2018. They did an amazing job installing the floor and seats into my van. Additionally they installed two ventilation fans and wired them up in September. But that’s not the amazing part — at the time I had them work on my van, my daily driver had gotten totaled when a large vehicle slammed into it. The day before the accident, I had just signed the papers on my van. Essentially, I had a family to transport and the van had 2 seats. They worked with my business to help me finance the work that I desperately needed. I was financially in a pinch and they helped me through it. That’s not your everyday company. The owner of the company runs a good business but is also a good human being. Larry, who does the sales, is also amazing and is diligent to answer questions from his many years of experience. The men and women on the floor are also amazing. While waiting to have my van worked out, one of the workers shared some of their home made food with me since I didn’t have much on me that day and things were going a little longer than expected. I’m glad to give my business to those who deserve it. If you’re thinking about commissioning Prime Time for your needs, this is the GREEN LIGHT to go ahead.
Amazing company to work with. Meets every need and even more. Great quality work and definitely a one of a kind company that I’ve never seen before. There is no average with them everything is personalized for each individual customer and there needs. they make everything simple and easy for the customer. Plant is tidy and well kept and would recommend them to all my family and friends if they are in the market for a van.
We own and operate a Sightseeing Land Tour company on the island of Maui. We have worked, personally, with Dave Moore and his team since 2011. Prime-Time has already delivered 10 Custom-built Limo-Vans to us. Servicing the visitor industry and having been in business for 33 years, like our guests, we have very high standards for quality, consistency and service. Prime-Time delivers on all these counts - and then some! Easy to communicate and work with. Quality, long-term field tested dependability and great back-up after the sale. All accomplished at a value price - amazing!!! Dave Moore promises what he can deliver and delivers better than he promised. We are currently planning 3 new Limo-Vans with him and can't wait to share them with our guests. We know they'll be the "talk of the island!"
This company is fantastic! The vehicles are made of high quality, and the sales team is absolutely wonderful! They care about the needs of the customer, and are willing to focus on you, and work around any obstacles that may be in the way. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a van converted. Their options are limitless on what they can do.
I'm the owner of a van converted by Prime Time. 6 months ago I was out of state and experienced a motor failure on my 6 way power driver seat. I made 2 calls to the company for help . 1st response - That vehicle is way out of warranty I can't help. I explained I was not seeking warranty maybe just a little help with information on a replacement motor. 2nd response - We'll have to call you back. Took my #. Never got a call back. Gave two stars instead of one because van is built OK. Company just wasn't helpful when I REALLY needed them. Edit : Response to owners reply. I appreciate your efforts , but a good samaritan helped me out and got me going 6 months ago when I needed help.
Absolute garbage aftermarket installs with little to no quality assurance. We are currently leasing 6 Promaster Vans that were modified by PrimeTime SV. We've had nothing but electrical issues with Prime Time's shoddy wiring, paneling installed into sheet metal with dry wall screws, and low quality passenger seats with retractable seat belts that do not work.
Recently had a handicap accessible van repaired the attention to detail and craftsmanship was fantastic.... Great job
Exceptional product with great fit and finish. We have delivered a number of PSV vehicles to cusotmers with rave reviews!
