The teachers care for our daughter like she was their own. There isn't any other center in the Triad I trust like Primrose. The owners, management, and support staff truly care about children and want to provide the best possible care. Highly recommended. I'm not one to leave reviews but I felt like sharing. I never worry about my daughter when I drop her off. That kind of peace of mind is hard to come by as a parent.
I am a grandmother with a 6 month old granddaughter enrolled in the New Irving Park location. I recommend the Primrose School for anyone’s baby or child. I am always greeted by a welcoming, friendly staff and the cleanliness of the facility is notable. I am impressed by the professional loving and very patient infant teachers too. The layout of the infant area allows for play, sleep, and all activities required for top notch infant care. I’m also impressed by the “daycare” app on my daughters phone which allows her to check on her baby every day and the cute pics taken by the staff are a plus to this grandma! Primrose is top notch in my opinion.
Update: Since COVID-19, I had to start taking my older child to Primrose in March along with my kindergartener. Now that the new school year has started and we are doing virtual school, both are still attending Primrose while I work. The kids are able to bring devices to use in order to do their virtual school and I am so grateful! My kids still love Primrose after years of going. The school takes many precautions when it comes to staying sanitary, by staff wearing masks and cleaning everything. My kids have stayed healthy so far! I was nervous that they would get sick by going to school still during this pandemic, but Primrose has obviously been doing a great job with making sure everyone stays healthy. I can’t say thank you enough! My 3 yr old loves this school. Every day when I pick him up he is excited to tell me what he learned. His speech has improved and so has his behavior at home. The teachers and staff are wonderful and caring, I would highly recommend Primrose for your little one. I’ve experienced an awful pre-school before so I was picky when it came to a new one, and I am so glad I picked this school. They also email me updates with pictures of my little one throughout the day which I love! The facility is well kept and clean and has a locked front door with a code entry for security.
The school is very clean and structured. Most of the teachers are good. However, my toddler never had a good connection with the teachers in Early Preschoolers. We also had some issue with the transition process after he turned two. I expected a smoother transition, but he was not introduced to the teachers and the class. We decided to submit him to a different school after all.
My son went here for about 3 months. It was the worst daycare I’ve ever seen. I received pictures from a teacher of other teachers sleeping in the class room. Teachers making fun of my son for wearing a pink shirt and having longer hair. I brought this to the owners and they said it would be best if I took my son to another daycare. My son was traumatized for months after this.
My child's teachers are awesome, owners awesome are invested and know everyone by name, and administration is awesome as well. We couldn't have picked a better school for our child and it's worth every penny for The quality education.
