Balanced Learning® Curriculum

The concept of balance is core to the Primrose approach to curriculum development and programming. We believe each child is unique, capable, curious, and in the process of discovering how the world works. We want to encourage this natural process by providing the kind of teaching and learning environment that will foster the development of well-rounded children. Our Balanced Learning curriculum provides teachers with an instructional blueprint that enables them to promote and support children’s learning in multiple ways—through listening, seeing, hearing, touching, and play.

If I could give zero stars, I would. If you have a child here or are thinking of going here, I recommend spending time in the room with your child. The environment I saw was extremely negative and lacked compassion towards the children. The teachers appeared to hate their jobs, and I’m not sure they even liked children. I went to my car and sobbed. Then I went back in, explained what I saw to the director, and then immediately took my son home. About $500 of fees and first week of tuition wasted, but I couldn’t live with myself if I left my son there. Note: My husband and I have enrolled our son in several daycares over the years as we’ve had to move around Ohio. So many experiences have been wonderful! This was by far the worst.
We love Primrose Reynoldsburg and we have already recommended to several other families which we know. The main thing we love are the teachers, all of our son's teachers have been fantastic and the rate in which his walking, speech and everything has come along since moving from another daycare is incredible!! The teachers really care about the kids here and do a great job of setting boundaries, discipline and creating fun, enjoyable and safe learning environments for the kids. The school is also very good about reporting incidents very few of these, but they do happen and make you feel confident that your child is being cared for in the best possible way! This is very much a learning and teaching environment, not a babysitting culture which we found in other places! Thank you for all that you do for my son!
I love the teachers and management. I feel so much comfort during the day knowing that my daughter is in good hands at primrose.
I have always appreciated the school's receptiveness to change and improvement. My child is vegetarian and I appreciate her having school provided options to ensure she receives a well balanced meal that excludes meat products. Administration is organized and does an excellent job of communicating with parents. My daughter has been enrolled since she was 12 weeks old and we plan to continue through Kindergarten.
We transferred from another private daycare in the area after a severe biting incident. The administrative staff moved very quickly and were able to get our son enrolled overnight. The facility is ALWAYS in pristine condition and the staff is always welcoming and loving to our son. The staff always calls him by his first name as they welcome him into the center daily. We are extremely pleased with the center and their staff. Our son laughs and claps his hands when he goes in the morning and runs and jumps into the arms of his teachers. Most evenings when we pick up our son, he doesn't want to leave and he now blows kisses at his favorite teachers. "Mail day" is his favorite when he gets letters in the "mail," from mommy and daddy. Primrose is a great facility, both inside and out! We will refer all of our friends and their kiddos to Primrose for their early-educational needs!
Primrose school of Reynoldsburg seemed to offer everything I was looking for in a private school for my daughter. A newly built school with bright beautiful classrooms, conveniently located and a well-rounded curriculum with a balance between play and learning. Well what I have learned is that everything that glitters is not gold. I have a number of complaints lack of communication and switching of classrooms but I will focus on the most serious one. My daughter came home on multiple occasions stating she was bullied physical and verbal by other children and each time the teachers did not witness the incidents. We spoke with management and her teachers on multiple occasions and we feel they did not address our concerns. We were informed their teachers see everything and our daughter is telling us she is being bullied for attention and so that she would not have to return to school. How can teachers see everything? The preschool 2 classroom grew to a ratio of 1:14. How can one teacher see everything 14 active 3-year-old children are doing every second of the day? The owner informed us if our daughter is too afraid to speak up and tell the teachers when she is being bullied that Primrose School of Reynoldsburg was not the school for her. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF REYNOLDSBURG!!!
We have been taking our 13 month old son to this daycare since he was 3 months old. They are WONDERFUL! The classrooms are always very clean. Every teacher he has had we have loved and has been great with him. They do countless arts and crafts and other activities with the babies. Couldn't be happier with this Primrose Daycare.
Extremely dissatisfied with this school. Having visited the downtown location I was expecting the same level of care when transferring to Reynoldsburg. Totally different experience. Teachers- high turn over with inexperienced in classroom management Management- slow response to serious inquiries child abuse Owners- extremely unprofessional and lacking of empathy and compassion I cannot being myself to ever send my child to Primrose owned by these individuals.
My niece was recently enrolled in the before and after school program at this location. Thursday morning we arrived only to find that not only was there nobody at the front desk to greet parents and children, but the teachers in the classroom were far from warm and welcoming. The classroom was a bit chaotic and the teachers seemed to be too occupied w/ what they were doing to bother to introduce themselves or properly welcome us. Having been a teacher at a Primrose in Richmond I know how important it is to make a new child feel welcomed and safe. Being the first day of school I expected tears from her, however I expected much more from the teachers. Friday morning was an even bigger disappointment. There were three women upfront and not one of them looked away from their computer or paperwork to say good morning to us or the other parents entering the building. As any other child my niece was nervous and began to cry again. There were two teachers in the room and they did the absolute minimum to help her become acclimated w/ the room or introduce her to friends. Friday evening we were let in by a woman that who only asked if she could help us. After saying we here to pick up my niece she simply smiled and said "Ok".As we peeked in on my niece we learned that the woman that let us in was the Assistant Director herself. She apologized for being "busy" and introduced herself. After very few words she left and made her way back to the front. It's incredibly important to me to point out that at no point did anyone check our identifications or to see if in fact we were authorized to pick her up. This concerns me a great amount. Working for a Primrose Preschool I learned how important it is to show and prove to the parents, as well as the children, that we provide a safe and caring environment for their children. I was excited to see how things were at a different location and was quickly let down. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRESCHOOL FOR BE FORE AND AFTER SCHOOL.
Our teacher , Ms. Morris is doing an amazing job in the development of our child and communicates very well with us. The rest of the staff is very friendly and make you feel comfortable having our child here
