A very quiet part of Prince Edward County. A rustic park with some signs of a farm from years gone by. A rocky beach, a small water inlet you must walk around, an old lighthouse, a bird observatory, and plenty of small snakes close to the water. You may not see anyone.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
2nd time I've come back here. It's beautiful as always. Great spot for hiking, a nice boat launch and cove area for kayaking.Visited onWeekday
Great hidden gem in the county. They have done fixing up the area. You can take the trail to the lighthouse and a second smaller trail to Travers point. There are also some nice areas along the beach where you can just relax and enjoy the viewVisited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Great little hidden point at the end of a long road. There is a bird observatory here and a dock. Washrooms are open and available. The beach had evidence of both beaver and otters as it was littered with wood chips and clam shells. Great spot for photos and just watching Lake Ontario.
Worth the trip for the drive alone. I don't often get to this end of the county. Try the wine at Half Moon winery. I didn't find a trail but I think there is one. Anyways, there's a nice 1.5km or so walk to the bay and we saw a heron, some chipmunks, tons of frogs, and a few cormorants. Really pretty on the right day.
Nice and tranquil place to visit, especially during covid 19. Hardly anyone was around and we just hiked all over the place. Some trails were closed but that didn't dampen the day. Bring binoculars, cameras and sunblock. Perhaps a bathing suit too as the water is absolutely clear. Plenty of wildlife to see as well so be on the lookout. Birds, frogs and snakes so far...
We drove up and wandered around. It's near water and open wild land with many flying insects for the birds. Volunteer run so you never know what to expect.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
We really enjoyed our walk here. Very pretty. We could hear lots of birds, saw some swallows, but I think we were at the wrong time of year to see more birds
Gorgeous, lots of birds. Not much walking paths available when we went.
