I don't live here but I visit frequently with a resident here and can give an honest review. The park is one of the best in Tucson, as RV parks go people are terrific, spaces are clean. However, there's a real lack of amenities for the price point that they charge. Yes, there's a pool, it's very small and uninviting and the jacuzzi is about the size of a bathtub. I have honestly never seen anyone in either in the year that he has been staying here. There is also no place for the dogs to run around, there is a big grassy area but it's not fenced in. They have no designated dog run anywhere in the park, which I find very strange because it seems that a majority of the people staying here are dog owners. The bathrooms are outdated and usually dirty. The laundry facilities are a joke, half the machines don't work with your credit card leaving you to go get quarters. When my friend addressed this with the management they told him to call the number on the machine and tell them they need to come out and fix them. Working washers and dryers are included in the price of the rental, as advertised and the onus to keep these machines in proper repair should not fall on the residents. All in all yes it's overpriced for what you get, but it's got real potential to be amazing if they just put a little bit of that money back into the park. People are great here though and that makes up for a lot, not to mention it's safe. Never worried about getting robbed or broken into.
Good park for the most part - one major issue. Hope you don’t mind not having wifi or cell service. They say they have free wifi, which attracted me here - and they sort of do, except it doesn’t even really work even when you’re in the lounge or by the pool. Cell service everywhere in the park is AWFUL. One bar at best. You’re expected to pay for your own internet service despite the claims of free wifi….
I advise that you consider staying at one of the other local RV Parks. The owner / management of this park definitely engages in discrimination against religious services and / or Christians, although they claim in their literature that the clubhouse is available for full use to guests. Many other local RV Parks offer Sunday church services at their clubhouses. We were long term residents, and after six months we were advised that we could no longer conduct church services at the park, but other guests and volunteers could use the clubhouse for their Social activities. The owner outright advised me that they were going to be having too many functions in the recreation center reason church services not being allowed, but that has not been the case. In fact, we watched their activities afterwards which were limited and with low participation. Long term residents and office staff gossip constantly, and there definitely is a social "click" group. The bathrooms especially the ones located in the separate building are disgusting. At one point, our family replaced the shower curtains due to the heavy build-up of mold. The floors and mats never seem to be clean properly easy to get athletes foot. We even installed new shower heads without asking for anything in return; just so guests could at least try to take a decent shower. The owner claims that improvements are going to be done, but projects don't get completed although rates increase yearly. The hot tub is never "hot," you will have a lukewarm soaking. Pool is alright; nothing to brag about. Expect to walk through a wall of smoke if entering the building through the pool area, as employees sit at the table, right next to the entrance, smoking. Some of the employees are very helpful; others will not do anything extra in order to assist a guest. No pets allowed in the pool area, but that does not seem to apply to certain groups of people. The owner seems to allow a few of the long term residents to do whatever they want. I guess that they are the RV Park police. We have stayed at numerous RV Parks, we are full time RVers, and this is by far the worse RV Park that we have stayed at. We paid upfront for a full year, but left after 9 months. Overall nice campground, conveniently located right off the highway so there's some highway noise. Friendly staff, clean, level sites. A lot of more permanent residents but everyone was friendly and said hello. We felt safe here. We had a large pull-thru site that cost $45. Spots are a little tight but not too bad, definitely have had tighter. FHU was great. Would stay again if passing through. 20 minutes from Saguaro NP west which was gorgeous!
Conveniently located with easy access, this super clean RV Park is managed by a friendly Staff and shared by a community of well maintained rigs of various sizes. The RV spaces are somewhat tightly positioned, however they are well situated and laid out with each spot offering level parking for both an RV-on gravel and an automobile-on asphalt while a concrete pad host's a picnic table and seating. Even though this RV Park is located right next to the interstate, the noise level is kept to a minimum by the highway barriers, with only slight traffic noises heard in the background...and being at the end of a side road, with no sideroad traffic and only one way in and out of the community, the Park feels extremely safe and has extra exterior lighting and camera's for an added measure of security. I'd highly recommend this Park to any traveler passing through or planning to stay for a while.
Several empty spaces and we had to share with a full time resident at full price! At least make the other guy split the cost if he's allowed to use half our site.
Outstandind RV stop !! Pet friendly, Clean well maintained Park, nice spaces with simple hook ups. They have a Big Pool weather permitting, Jacuzzi, shuffel court, big Community Center open 9am to 10pm something almost happening everyday. Quilting club, Card club, Billiard nights, Doughnut Tuesday's, Holiday carry-in dinners, activity room with pool table, card games, puzzles area, Wi-Fi, Park cookouts every other Wednesday . Good Coffee on all day. Big screen TV with comfortable seating. Great New Friends here. The Office people are so very nice too. New management is thoughtful and really cares how things are for the rest of us. Come see what I mean. We Love it here..!
Okay for a night, very old and run down. Most sites are long term folks that have been there a VERY LONG TIME. Pool is okay, hot tub is a one person bath tub size. Nice folks around, just needs some love and major updates. Bathrooms should be the first place to start!
I like it here, friendly office people n campers as well. Right by the highway, but you can't hear nor see the highway which is nice.
Very nice park, we tried it for a month and liked it so much we paid for a year, clean great staff, pool and hot tub
