I went on the weekend to get a shoe fitting and purchase shoes. There were a number of people there already, but I added my name to the waitlist and waited about 5 minutes to be helped. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. They took the time to measure my feet, and ask me what I was planning to use the shoes for. They gave me multiple pairs of shoes to try and did not pressure me to make any particular decisions. They gave me the time I needed to try on the shoes, and were really pleasant to talk to. It was a great experience and I plan to purchase from them again in the future.
Remarkably excellent experience! I'm not a runner; rather, I needed sneakers with extra padding in the front. The customer service was amazingly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Melina knew exactly what I was talking about, knew how to select shoes that were appropriate, and she and I took our time working through and fit-and-comfort-testing the selections, and I walked out with two pair of the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn. Very happy with the outcome, and I'm glad I shopped in town and not online. Thanks!
The customer service here is through the roof! They treat their customers like friends and family. I never feel intimidated to ask them questions about my gear, running issues, or training. They are always helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. The Thursday night runs that are organized by the store have grown exponentially and have become a community weekly event throughout the town. They support all levels of runners from newbies to ultra marathoners; they continue to inspire us to run and get outside and explore our town. The weekly runs are a great way to meet new people and get involved in the local running community.
The salesman who assisted me was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to understand my needs and scanned my feet to ensure the perfect fit. I was impressed by his expertise and attention to detail. He guided me through their extensive selection of shoes, providing valuable insights about different brands and styles. I highly recommend Fleet Feet to anyone in search of high-quality shoes and outstanding customer service. great experience at the fitting of trainers for my daughter's. The only downfall is that the associate did not introduce herself, neither was she wearing a name badge, but still excellent service, because she was knowledgeable about the products. I would recommend the Princeton store.
My husband and I went in to find replacements for our worn out Hokas. We were lucky enough to be assisted by Lauren. She analyzed our feet and based on the results, suggested many shoes to try in addition to Hokas. She was patient and extremely knowledgeable. Every shoe she suggested fit well and would have worked for our needs. We are both thrilled with our final purchases which surprisingly weren’t what we went in to buy , but mostly with the assistance provided by Lauren. We learned a lot about our feet which will help us with shoe purchases in the future. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for running shoes. Thank you, Lauren!
UPDATE: We decided to give Fleet Feet another try based on my past experience. Connor was incredible in terms of providing incredivle customer service and all pertinent information related to the shoes for my daughter. Our experience was completely different and Connor was the reason why. This is the first time that I am writing a negative review of any business. I've been a customer for more than 10 years at Princeton Running Company. I checked the store hours online which clearly stated they were open to 7 before driving 45 minutes to surprise my daughter with running shoes on her birthday. We arrived at 6:19 p.m. and saw people who were actively shopping and being fitted for shoes. The male behind the counter decided to shout that "the store was closed for a group run". He asked why I didn't pay attention to the sign. Honestly, I missed the sign. I informed him that I drove close to an hour and his reply was that I should have called to check if they were open. He embarrassed me as well as my daughter on her birthday as he laughed it off. I'm still struggling to understand why I would need to call a store to see if they were open when the website clearly indicated they would be open to 7. My daughter's evening was based solely on coming to your store and was ruined based on the rude behavior of your staff and an interaction he found hysterical.
The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I appreciate that they recycle our old sneakers and even the box of our new sneakers. Prices are reasonable. The rewards program is great.
This is the way customer service used to be! You don’t know what you need or what you want, you go someplace with knowledgeable sales, people, who also happen to be nice and friendly, and you get to Tryon multiple pairs of shoes or this case sneakers, so this is the way it should be. Plus, they have a bunch of other neat running accessories and accessories. That just will make you a cool. By the way, our salesman Josh was super.
I spent roughly about $280 on two pairs of sneakers. One pair was great the other pair just did not fit my foot right. When I called back and told them I wasn't happy with the second pair and that I just wanted to get another pair to exchange they told me because it was on sale they couldn't do anything for me. But on the sales receipt it says you have 30 days to return your sneakers if you are not happy did not say you cannot if it is on sale and they also did not tell me when I was paying. I just spent $280 and they couldn't even help me will not be going back to this place. I suggest taking your business somewhere else where they actually appreciate their customers and the money they spend.
