We are a locally owned and operated shop specializing in Custom Picture Framing and American craftwork!
The gallery first started in Worcester in 1974 as Chandler Street Crafts, featuring custom framing by Norman Ringdahl and a showroom for several local artists. As the space became too small for the growing business, they relocated to Park Ave and renamed the shop to The Prints and the Potter Gallery. After one final move, the gallery is now located on Highland Street and still upholds its original mission to provide custom picture framing and quality artwork.
Norman Ringdahl is an experienced artist with over four decades of custom framing experience, and he is a Certified Picture Framer (CPF) with the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA). Everyone on the gallery staff is an artist with formal training and all have been trained in framing consultation and assist in the framing process.
Please allow our staff to help you find the perfect framing for your artwork, photography, memorabilia, and anything else you'd like to preserve. We use all conservation-quality materials and have a wide selection of frames, mats, and glass.
In addition to framing, we still carry handmade craftwork. Today, our selection includes quality Artisan-made pottery, jewelry, studio glass, fine woods, textiles, and more at affordable prices. We showcase local artists whenever possible, and we also carry work from artists all over the United States. Why wait for craft shows when you can choose to shop local?
