At Prism our nursing students get real-world clinical training that helps build confidence and a strong résumé. Our Practical Nursing program consists of 720 hours of clinic, plus 120 hours of lab which means more than half your program is hands on! You will gain hands on experience performing nursing duties at clinical sites that may include: Long term care facilities, doctors’ offices labs laboratories, pediatric sites, and rehab centers.
We offer externship, which provide hands-on training for medical assistants and clinical experience, which provides hands-on training for Practical Nursing. .
We have strong partnerships within the community that welcome Prism students and provide you with outstanding opportunities to learn and grow. You’ll work side-by-side with doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a real medical setting.
