Prison and Hospital Ministries (PHM) was formed for exclusively charitable, religious and educational purposes. PHM serves a public purpose through its mission to reach out to people in prisons, hospitals, and nursing homes, as well as the surrounding community and anyone who is suffering. PHM is guided by the biblical verses Matthew 28:19-20 and 25:35-46 which teach Christians to spread the word of the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ and care for those people at the fringes of society. Specifically, the members of PHM visit these people in need to provide them company, brighten their lives and offer them friendship and support. Furthermore, PHM provides aid to the families of people in prison, hospitals or nursing homes, by providing transportation for the families to visit their loved ones and helping families adjust to the absence of their loved on. PHM focuses on developing a strong community that is united in Christ and seeks to spread a message of love to all
