OUR STORY
Prissy and Buster started as a hobby that grew into a small business. The owner, Cathy Drury, began sewing in high school. She continued sewing well into her career as a teacher. Cathy sewed outfits for her granddaughter and 6 grandsons.
Cathy wanted to continue to impact the lives of children after her retirement and so began Prissy and Buster. The name of the shop started with one of Cathy's popular items - bloomers with ruffles. Cathy says that she called the bloomers "Miss Prissy Pants" and naturally had to come up with some items for boys (for all of those grandsons!) which became "Buster Britches". The name "Prissy and Buster" was born.
Cathy is passionate about every item that she sews. She believes that every stitch should be perfect and that the end result is high quality and made with love.
We are a locally owned business located on beautiful St. Simons Island, GA.
All of our boutique clothing is handmade and one-of-a-kind. All seams are professionally serged and sewn. Sleeves are sewn with soft elastic.
We use 100% cotton material for all of our clothing. Ribbons are made of 6 and 4 polyester.
Everything is machine washable so they are great for play or for more formal ocassions.
